I made a question earlier about this but my boyfriend has been stressed with work and not really sure where he will be until he got good news that he’s still good! Anytime I bring up Valentine’s Day plans even after he heard the good news he still kind of shut down the idea/changes the subject. Should I talk to him about it and see what’s going on or just let him come to me with his next days off and let him bring up Valentine’s Day? I’ve mentioned a few times about Valentine’s Day what we can do but I haven’t talked to him about it and why he’s avoiding the topic of doing something.

So my boyfriend and I usually discussed valentines day plans 1-2 week prior to valentines day, once we have our plans we wait until his schedule comes out and the plans we have talked about we pick the day were going to do them. This year there has been no talk about valentines plans and what were going to be doing, I have suggested making dinner. I know he has been really stressed with work and where he will be but recently he found out good news about his job. He has told me that he has gotten my valentines day gift for me and he's just waiting for it to arrive, when I mentioned valentines day plans after hearing his good news he's shut the conversation down and said something like "I don't know what my schedule is like for that week".( we still usually plan things even if he doesn't know his schedule). I'm just confused on where his head is at. We have been together for 2 years.
