I’m traditional and whoever imitates the date should pay. I don’t have a problem paying sometimes and I don’t go 50/50 either. I understand women taking advantage of men for free dinners , but men should vet women properly. I don’t date men and never been on a date with a man as a lesbian prior to coming out. There are women who don’t take advantage of men for free dinners. There are a lot of things women and men can do without investing a lot of money on a date. If both of you aren’t looking for a serious exclusive relationship than why are you investing in dating / courting to begin with? Courting is for people who intend to get married dating is for more serious exclusive relationships for the next step of courting.

Too many people don’t court anymore or don’t date for serious exclusive relationships thus why I stopped dating..

So I see relationships like :

Friendship , dating , courting , relationship, marriage..

Olympic American athlete Gwen Berry who won third place at the Olympic trials recently made major headlines for turning her back as the anthem played to protest against systemic racism and police brutality. She also at one point placed a t-shirt over her head that read "Activist Athlete." A lot of people are up in arms about it because they feel this is disrespectful to America, the anthem, and for anyone seeking to represent America on the international stage.

Even if you TOTALLY disagree with her actions, to say she should NOT protest, means that you are willing to give up your rights to protest should the need arise for you because you can't just say no, she shouldn't be allowed to protest at all, but then a year later when something you feel is wrong comes along, say, oh it's cool then because it affects you personally. Either everyone has the right to do this, or no one at all. We can generally all agree that burning down things in riots and protests is not a great solution to injustice, so even if you disagree completely with her actions, she protested peacefully and did not hurt anyone or anything.
