This is about me & guy I asked out a few weeks ago —and after some mix up we’re on track to hang out Thursday evening or Friday morning 😂

… So he knows I hang out in a tree at the library where he works in between my shifts, bc he ran into me there a while back. He has since made it a habit of stopping to say hi & sit with me on his way into the library to work.

I don’t think there is anything wrong & obviously he’s free to sit in any tree and I certainly never ashes not to. I think it is very sweet and courteous. I think if I was normal, I’d probably enjoy it. But well I go there between shifts to decompress and be alone and with him coming by it feels like I need to be “on” which is stressful.

And yeah I know when you get along it shouldn’t be stressful but sone prophetic get stressed & we only really just decided to maybe date so the dynamic has changed tho I’ve known him a few years.

first person I ever felt really strongly about I got so nervous I’d end up avoiding him and he thought I hated him and it was a big mess. And I don't know if I’m always going to feel weird around people I like or what. I was five till I ashes him out in text between the two of us he was the mire shy. I think tuat has flipped now & I’m very disoriented. he seems really confident and I’m all spazzing out inwardly. Outwardly luckily I’m composed. It’s my thing lol

Not sure exactly what I’m asking. Im just a bit concerned of my unfortunate tendency and I don’t know if this is “ new situation nerves” or I’m just beginning my truest journey of escapism even tho I like the person very much.

So I don't know, I guess any thoughts on the subject are welcome, thank you.

I asked mine to do two things. He talked to me about us two hanging out this past weekend. It wasn’t set in stone plans but I was like sure. He mentioned during the week maybe having to work. I didn’t hear from him all weekend.

I texted him and asked me when we talk about plans and things come up I would like him to send a curtesy text. I told him I was out with my pals so it is no big deal. It’s just a respect thing.

He also talks to girls and other girls in front of me. I told him even though we are just hanging out, I really would prefer it that he didn’t talk about other girls or to other girls in front of me. When I’m hanging out with him or spending my time with him, I kind of want him to myself. Again it is just a respect thing. That I require a certain amount of mutual respect from the guys I talk to or hang out with.

He got mad and said it was to many rules and ramifications for two people just hanging out. He wished me the best.

I think boundaries are important including for people just hanging out.

So I met my best friend a little over a year and a half ago. We both work at the same place and hang out outside of work and go to the same college (we were basically roommates). I was originally “in love” with another guy whenever we started hanging out, and he helped show me that he was toxic for me. After that, I was able to get over that guy and focus on myself. Doing that, I realized that I actually had feelings for my best friend. I thought it was nothing at first, but throughout our friendship, those feelings have grown a lot stronger.
We both love Star Wars and Marvel. He makes sure I know that I am invited to different events that he is going to and tries to include me in everything. We go on late night drives (just the two of us) and listen to music or talk if either of us are upset or overwhelmed. People always know that he rides shotgun in my car because he designated himself as my co-pilot. I have had a few people ask me if we were dating because of how we act with each other.
The reason I haven’t told him yet is because he has a girlfriend. This hasn’t been a long-term girlfriend, but it’s been going well for them so far. He’s fallen for both of my best friends in the past and I’ve always been there to give him advice about any of the girls he was thinking about dating. Currently, his girlfriend and him are doing well (other than one night that they got in a fight and he ended up crying and talking to me about it).
I’ve had the overwhelming urge to tell him lately because my feelings are growing so strong and it hurts me a lot of the time. He’s also been teasing me a lot lately (jokingly) and is always cracking inside jokes with me which hasn’t helped. His girlfriend is so great and I love her. I’m just scared that I’m gonna go insane if I don’t tell him. I also don’t want to lose him as a friend because I don’t think I’ll be able to handle it. People keep telling me to let it run it’s course and I’ll get over it, but I haven’t.

What should I do?
