My crush (who used to like me or be at least slightly interested In getting to know me) and I are taking a course this semester. When we were asked to form groups he looked at me a few times but I already joined another. When two girls approached him he started to flirt with one of them very obviously and loudly. He seemed very flattered and surprised by her and said „WTF?“ to his friend when he left the room.

A few days later during the lecture (his group partner wasn’t there) he stared at me for 10 seconds from afar but I didn’t react. Now he seems to focus on her and acts slightly nervous around her but up until last week he didn’t greet her or sit next to her so I thought there was not much going on.

However two days ago this girl chose to sit right in front of me (she was the second person after me to enter the room so there were plenty of empty seats to chose) and my crush sat right next to her and was all cutesy and giggly with her. A few times when he leaned very close into her he glanced over at me but I forced myself not to look at both of them once.

My questions are:

1. Why did she choose to sit in front of me? I highly doubt that that was a coincidence

2. Why does he put her on a pedestal but not me (acting all nervous and competitive with other male students). Could he think more highly of her because she is smarter?

3. Is there still a chance for me or am I too late? They both seem to be dating or at least very close

The same girl in my HS hates me for the longest. We're now HS seniors.

Ever since 7th grade, she would start with her rude remarks, spread false rumors, ridicule me in the class and her group of friends would isolate me. It got to the point, she literally wanted to fight me. I only replied back with a punch once. We were threatened with a suspension, she starts crying, fakes an apology and supposedly that was it. Nope, she proceeded to faking a friendship just to avoid trouble, along with giving me a fake number and fake address.

By the following year, she would continue with the rude comments or scream ''OMG or EWWW'' in disgust. I had enough and just recently told her ''OMG nothing, you got a problem with me again, we can fix this right now and this time I don't give a damn if I we get suspended. In fact I'm looking forward for it. And don't be crying crocodile tears.'' She said nothing but walked away.

Honestly, can our gender be worse bullies than guys? If this was between guys, they fight, get it solved and that's it. Either they become friends or ignored each other but at least have some level of respect. They go on into faking friendships nor apologies. She kept going on with that hate for 5 years and we're nearly adults by now.

Often some typical personality traits are a contrast to each other, and most of the time they are. In some cases a part of each clashing personality can be combined in one person. I think you can find traces of this in every person but how extreme do you think they clash within you?
It can be more of a thing between different times, different friend groups, or are you just able to adapt to situations.
Examples of this could be a 'girly girl', who also is an outdoorsy person, not shy to work in the garden or even woods. An obviously logical person that for the right topics can get super emotional. A person always tries to be the focal point of a party but when in private acts caring and selfless.
Just random quick examples and under the right circumstances not clashing at all. Depending on the person they can seem completely non fitting. Sometimes you may even realize that yourself.

This whole thing is based on stereotypes. Voting yourself higher is not a negative thing to do, and maybe just be, because you know yourself better than others. It can also be the case, that others have told you without you seeing it in yourself.
This is all feeling based and even if others told you it doesn't mean they are 100% correct.
Keep in mind a person can NOT be 'wrong' because of this!!!
Clashes if handled well can lead to new bridges being built between other groups of people.
