So, I like this girl. I see her almost daily. We have countless similar interests, and the same type of humor. We have hung out before (me her and and one of her friends) and actually have plans to hang out in a group this weekend.
We recently started texting each other a few weeks ago. Just little jokes and memes etc. until the last few days, we started talking about a tv show we both love. Long story short, that led to mutual paragraph upon paragraph texts from both of us joking around about the show, making up scenarios etc.
The issue is, even though we are both sending them, it has just kept on going on for days now, and I’ve noticed the last few days or so, she’s become less responsive. She still responds with full on paragraph texts. But she doesn’t text me as late at night, and waits until the next day. but I feel she’s becoming annoyed and doesn’t want it to continue like this, which I get.
Should I tell her something like “Hey we can break up these paragraph texts, I feel like I’m being an asshole sending so many at once” Should I say it in person? Or over text?
It sucks because I’m not double texting her or anything, it’s just how our convos have been going. But it’s becoming tedious to respond to so many. I was also planning on asking her out this weekend after hanging out with the group, but this texting issue is messing with me and I hope it hasn’t ruined anything.
