No I’m not a sociopath. In fact I am sometimes too empathetic for people.

Anyway I have known a few in my life (even regrettably dated one in the past). I can’t change their nature but just accept the sad fact they can never be trusted. Sociopaths will only value people to the point they get value out of them. This can be sneaky because their “value” can mean different things. It can be looks, money, sex , social optics, etc. Even the ones who are heavily involved in “social justice” initiatives just want the social kudos that come along with it vs. really caring about the people they are supposedly fighting for. Sociopaths see life as a chessboard.

They get paranoid about being “found out” because when they know when that happens people don’t trust them. They need to be trusted to gain their own ends. So they are good at acting and behaving seemingly genuine. But when no one’s looking they will be the last to inconvenience themselves to help someone else who can’t repay them. That’s the acid test of identifying a sociopath; how do they treat people who can’t benefit them.

With all that said a part of me can’t help a bit envy for these people at times. They seem to always get what they want. Sociopathic men usually do (at least initially) very well romantically with women compared to more empathetic men.

It’s because they come off as confident and non chalant because they aren’t worried about hurting a woman’s feelings. They understand the concept of challenge and good at being manipulative. But they put on acts like they care to convince them otherwise. And of course they become the nasty heart break stories women complain about. Then some of these hurt women generalize ALL men for these asshole’s bs.

But on the flip side it must be a heavy burden knowing that you can never really be trusted and must always cover your ass.

Or more simply put, do women naturally like being strong or are they being socially pressured to be or appear to be strong?

I asked this maybe a year ago but lets ask again. what i've figured out is that its not really 'tall' guys they want so much as just guys who are taller than them. and for a lot of you ladies its not difficult to find a guy taller than you so its not as 'unrealistic' of a standard as some dudes make it seem like. so for instance a girl might be 4'9 and so any guy taller than that seems to be ok.

Anyways so which do you prefer girls?

And guys if you wanna answer how do you feel about women just wanting guys taller than them?

As a guy, I've lived this. Ever since I was 12 I always had negative thoughts of myself, making me retreat, keep to myself, and away from anything hardly ever feeling like i mattered to much of anyone.. never went to a friends house. Hell, I hardly even went outside at all. I have been mostly very withdrawn socially ever since, so it just surprises me if any woman, would actually be okay with that and still like to be in a relationship with him

The way I see it, most women want the kind of guy that is sociable, strong minded, and outgoing, which i believe usually makes the woman a lot more honestly attracted to him, because I just feel like most women want a singular type of guy, and wouldn't be able to stand being in a relationship with a guy that isn't what they dream of or want. Especially if he is some shy quiet depressed guy, and I really doubt most women would actually want to help their boyfriend out of being depressed because it would be another pity party they wouldn't want to be invited to. But I kinda can't blame them. Because it's tough being with someone depressed you'd love to enjoy happy moments with them but trying to pull them through their depression and helping them realize that there are and can be better days ahead takes a lot of effort, and persistence. But what I also realize better days, better things and better relationships come because of the effort and persistence from people that care enough to help things be better.

I feel like a couple usually never stay happy together if only one of them is honestly willing to be there for them
