For instance, apparently too many women (even short women) think the "average" height of a man is 6'0(probably from watching too much fictional entertainment portraying tall men) they prefer only men of that height at minimum, despite that the worldwide average height of an adult male is around 5'8-5'9.

I'm a short guy at 5'4 so it's unlikely I'll ever create a big height difference with a woman so personally for me I like a standard height difference of 7 inches or less. Although I don't know how I'd feel about an 8 inch or more difference as the amount of women that short compared to me is extremely rare and low I might feel very uncomfortable with it. I personally don't see how a height difference of more than 7 inches is practical and comfortable. I feel like there's less inconveniences when the height difference isn't so huge.
