Ron DeSantis Wants To Take His 'War On Woke' National. There’s One Big Problem: The Constitution.

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis launched his bid for the Republican presidential nomination Wednesday by promising to bring the suite of culture war policies he’s signed into law in Florida to the whole nation if he’s elected in 2024.

“The woke mind virus is basically a form of cultural Marxism,” DeSantis said in an appearance on Fox News the same day he announced his campaign. “At the end of the day, it’s an attack on the truth. And because it’s a war on truth, I think we have no choice but to wage a war on woke.”

This “war on woke” serves as the central justification and argument for DeSantis’ bid for the GOP nomination. By challenging the supposed liberal tilt in American culture as expressed in schools, the media and the corporate workplace culture, this “war,” and the legislation behind it, shows DeSantis as a culture fighter who gets things done.

But there’s one big problem for DeSantis’ war: the U. S. Constitution.

Broad swathes of DeSantis’ anti-woke agenda — from restrictions on the teaching of social science about race in colleges and universities, to bans on corporate diversity training to limits on public protests — have been temporarily suspended by judges who found them very likely to be in violation of the first and 14th amendments.

In suspending these laws, federal judges called them “positively dystopian” and the defenses presented in court “wholly at odds with accepted constitutional principles.” The suspended provisions of the laws may yet be upheld as they move through appeals courts and, possibly, U. S. Supreme Court review, but, at the moment, DeSantis’ offensive against the “woke mind virus” has been partially reversed.

Budweiser Clydesdale Events Cancelled as Bud Light Boycott Grows

A Budweiser distributor in Springfield, Missouri has cancelled all planned appearances of the iconic Clydesdale horses, citing threats to its employees.

The news comes as the boycott of Bud Light on account of its partnership with trans activist Dylan Mulvaney continues to grow. The beer’s parent company, Anheuser-Busch, is now having to react to criticism as well as increasing problems, including a stock price that’s dipped.

Wil Fischer Distributing decided to cancel all of the Springfield Clydesdale showings, citing safety concerns for their employees, according to the local Fox outlet. The Clydesdales have long featured in commercials such as last year’s Budweiser Super Bowl ad. The horses also recently made their annual appearance at the Cardinals’s Busch Stadium for baseball’s 2023 Opening Day.

Bud Light’s partnership with Mulvaney was intended to brighten up the brand from its stale association with “fratty” college guys throughout America’s colleges.

“If we do not attract young drinkers to come and drink this brand, there will be no future for Bud Light,” the beer’s VP of marketing explained last month. “What I brought to that was a belief in, okay, what does ‘evolve and elevate’ mean? It means inclusivity. It means shifting the tone. It means having a campaign that’s truly inclusive and feels lighter and brighter and different and appeals to women and to men.”

If someone already has unfixable problems with their body, does it make any sense for them to even try to work on anything on it, like going to the gym or trying to look less ugly through skin care, or something? I just don't see the point in it, because it'd never fix the major problems, no matter what I did. It seems fruitless and like a giant waste of time. It's like, I could get cancer tomorrow and it literally wouldn't change how I feel about this defective useless shitty body. It's been broken from birth, so I have very little motivation on trying to "work on" improving anything about it. It'd feel entirely pointless.

Should I even bother still caring about my body or outer appearance? Or should I spend my energy working on other things, like learning a new language, improving the piano, etc?

This is especially for men! You need to see what other men are being busted for. If you have problems, GET HELP!! So you don't ruin your life and someone elses. Most of those on the list are males. There's too many desperate males and you get caught up doing wrong, it is not worth it. Do right, up your game, improve your life... and be well informed and careful.

Women should be aware that these men are being released and live near them. Frankly, I think such men should be required to make a public appearance periodically and confess to the facts in front of others who wish to hear, as part of their therapy and improvement in life.
