Does this mean he thinks I’m ugly?

One of my guy friends of about a year reached to me with this. I’ve been close friends with lots of dudes in the past and it’s the first time I’ve ever heard this kind of question.

Personally, I can’t help but read it as a subtle dig at my appearance regardless of his intention. I know he’s not into me like that and I’m not looking for anything with him either. But am I overreacting for feeling a little disrespected by it? Why did he expect for me to whip out a friends number anyways considering his reasons?

Please let me know. It’s not the first I’ve had problems with him and can’t tell if I’m conflating it all or this is a valid complaint.

I have no idea how you got the idea of him thinking your ugly out of that conversation.

I feel like you probably got some insecurities going on with you that makes you think an interaction like that is a subtle way of him calling you ugly.

I mean I’m ngl I made the little a little click baity so it’s a bit dramatic. But I’m more so referencing the casual disrespect. He’s thrown less indirect insults to me in the past while drinking and apologized afterwords. It just seems a weird question to approach your female friend with in general. Especially the expectation of me spontaneously throwing a friend under the bus bc he’s hoping to get his rocks off or something.

I mean, I wouldn't approach and female friend I had in the past that way, asking them to hook me up with someone (I mean I jokingly did it once tbh but that's it).

If y'all bond is just a solid friendship and nothing more then I don't find it too outlandish for this guy to see if you can hook them up with someone.

It's kinda like being his wingman, I was friends with a guy in University that was friends with a girl where the girl would have the guy to get dudes she was intrested in to sleep with her.

It was weird, but it's a thing, apparently.

Nonetheless, I find it understandable if you don't like him using you to find people to hook up with, you're not wrong for feeling disrespected about it.

You are reaching. He did not give you any indication that you are ugly. But i think you like this guy. That question was bothering you enough to ask this here. If you dont have feelings towards him why would you care what he thinks? And i think he is intrested in you too - why would he ask YOU this and telling he is horney...
