In my opinion that although this movement started out well-intentioned, it is going down the slippery slope of confusing traditional male and female romantic interactions. Men are going to feel pressured to "ask for permission" for things they don't normally do i. e. go in for a kiss on a first date.

Hormones, society and upbringing impact our beliefs. There are somethings in our DNA that impact gender behavior that will NEVER change because they are hard coded. Most women still expect men to approach them. Most men still feel like they have to make the first move.

But this is going to create unnecessary paranoia among would-be men who don't want to be accused of something. I feel like the feminist movement is completely blind and death what this does to hetero male self-esteem (for decent guys who just want to date a girl).

I know the metoo movment extends beyond heterosexual dating. But for simplicity sake I'm sticking to how this will impact traditional male/female relations.

feminism is the belief in equality, that is to say a woman is a man and a man is a woman. That the two are the same. A man can give birth to a child and a woman can impregnate a man. There is no difference in physiology, biology, emotions, logic, strength, wisdom, sexuality and much more.

A non feminist or feminine woman is different.
She believes that men are the head. The logical one. The Christ on earth and she is his helpmeet. That without a King there is no queen (s). That women are powerful home keepers and the child birther of the mans seed. She loves treating her man as a king and knows she can never own him but only gain his trust, love and protection through loyalty, submission, reverence, edification and action.

So I've been hearing a lot of stuff from the left about masculinity being "toxic" and I think the idea of stripping men of their strength and pride to make them into submissive betas for the better of society is degrading. Especially knowing that men who adopt these beliefs turn out to be pathetic as a whole.

Now I understand this kind of thinking comes from a very vocal minority of feminists, but I'd always like to be sure.

Besides, I'm pretty sure a muscular Chad who doesn't back down to anyone is more attractive than a scrawny soyboy who'd willingly let other men plow their wives.

But what do you, as actual girls, think? Please be honest. Even if the truth hurts it's always better than lies.
