3 Differences Between Feminists and Feminazis

Many people confuse feminists and feminazis. They believe they are the same thing, however the two in fact are very different. Many feminazis, call themselves feminists which drives people away from feminism.

1) Feminists are not anti-male, Feminazis are.

A belief that is often thrown around here and there is that "Feminists hate men". That is not true. We do not want to be superior to men, we just believe men and women should be treated equally.

I am a feminist, not a man hater. Without a man and a woman I would not be here today, because everybody knows you need a man and a woman for procreation. I have a male family members, male friends so how can I hate men? Any other feminist will tell you the same thing.

Feminazis believe that women should be superior to men, and they are male haters. Many feminists are against this ideology.

2) Feminists understand the difference between biology and sexism.

People also believe that feminists will call anything sexist, if it does not suit their viewpoint. This however is not true.

We know this difference between sexism and biology.

If somebody said to me: "In physical labour work, men get paid more as they can lift heavier things due to being stronger." I would not find that sexist, because it's fair since the man is doing more work, and yes the male may be able to lift more because that's how biology works.

A feminazi on the other hand would disregard the logic and explanation, constantly calling whoever said this sexist.

However, if a man and woman were doing the same job and same amount of work and one was getting paid less than the other, regardless of which one it is I would call that sexist.

3) Feminists will not undermine women who choose to do traditional roles.

If a woman wants to do a traditional role, such as be a house wife, a feminist would not have an issue with that. As long as it is her choice.

My mother is a house wife because that is what she wants to do and as a feminist I am cool with that.

Feminazis will look down on women as such, and if a house wife identified as a feminist, a feminazi would dispute her claim, telling her she is not a true feminist, even if she believes in equal rights between men and women.

As nice as this is, the problem still lies in the lines being very blurred on who is a real feminist and who teeters on the line of feminazi.

Many "true feminists" still paint themselves and other women to be victims, and support a very victimized mentality of: "women are disadvantaged," "women are oppressed," "we have to PROVE that we as WOMEN, can do things!"

1) Women, at least in Western society, are not oppressed. We haven't been oppressed for years. They simply don't like the social implications that comes with being a woman, and they allow themselves to find a personal identity within the concept of a war-torn victim.

2) Women aren't victims. Unless you've been assaulted or something of the like, you aren't a victim. Just because there's a guy out there who thinks women ought to stay home and cook doesn't mean you're a victim.

3) Women think "the future being female" is the solution to everything. It isn't. Just because we may have a female president one day doesn't mean she'll be a good one. Unfortunately, many feminists simply think the solution to everything is "put women in charge." In a true, equal world, feminists would be more concerned with who is most qualified rather than what genitals they possess.

4) Feminists ignore male issues and still insist they are the disadvantaged sex. I get that feminism is about women being equal to men, it isn't their job to represent men. But many "true feminists" oppose or disregard male issues and sexism in fear of trivializing their own movement. Why do you think no feminist ever speaks about female pedophiles or rapists targeting male victims? Why do you think they won't admit that false rape claims are equally as bad as the act of rape itself? Because it doesn't benefit their agenda.

Perhaps there was a time (1960-early 2000s) when the word “feminist” actually stood for something meaningful but unfortunately the word “feminist” has been hijacked in recent years by the gynocentrics and misandrists in order to further their agenda.

I’m sorry to break it to you but the feminism today isn’t the feminism it once was, hence many people distancing themselves from the movement. Even when feminism was respected, it still had it’s problems but nowadays it has completely strayed from it’s original cause. I am really tired of dismantling with the "feminazis are not real feminists" argument.
I do believe that the majority of active feminists are indeed feminazis, or at the very least harbor negative sentiments towards men (which is sexism and misandry).
But let's accept this premise for a second. Well, I created this here little diagram, just to clarify how things work. Feel free to use it in the future.

As you see, both sex's advocacy groups has toxic elements to it.
Both are lumped together with the non-toxic element.
My question is, how do feminists want to be taken seriously, and not all regarded as "feminazis", when they:
1) Lump together MRAs the same way?
2) Don't make the smallest steps to self-regulate, and weed out the bad elements?

As of right now, from say, 5000 women marching in a feminist event, there is NO WAY of telling how many of these women are "legitimate", "true" feminists, because feminism is not a singular organisation, it is a movement.
There is not a single definition for feminism, and it changes from different branches - it often conflicts with each other.
Additionally, there is no system to track who is the member of what group of feminism.
So really, feminism is a black box with explosive inside it, and we don't know if it is a firecracker, or an armed nuclear warhead.

Here's my challenge to every feminist out there.
You want your movement to be accepted by everyone?
Four things:
One: Create a membership based system where every recorded form of feminism is listed, and members can pick what form of feminism they wish to identify with, so that we don't have to mix TERFs with intersectional feminists (who are fundamentally conflicted in the first place).

Two: Self-police - if a member of a given feminist group is observed to behave in a way that is not acceptable (for example, a "true" feminist showing anti-male sentiment), then they should be investigated, and at worst, banned from participating in said group.

Three: Stop saying feminism is about equality. It isn't. It is about advocacy for women ON THE GROUNDS of equality. Meaning men will rarely if ever get anything out of feminism.
So stop saying equality = feminism. It ain't.

Four: Consecutively, let men's advocacy groups operate freely without spreading false propaganda about them, and obstructing them every step of the way.

Here's the thing - there are many different kinds of feminism. You know this of course. Your kind of feminism isn't the same kind of feminism to those who run feminist organisations and push for feminist policies.

Their version of feminism is misandric, one-sided, female supremacist. They have power. They push for laws and policies that favour women over men. They spread all kinds of lies and false statistics. They manipulate and tell a false version of history, brainwashing especially young women.

In the UK, statistics from different, unbiased studies show that straight men are roughly 40-50% of domestic violence victims. Yet, there are 400 domestic violence shelters for women, and only 25 for men, and those male DV shelters only cater to men in that area. This is partly because those feminists who run the DV industry push false statistics, whether they come from biased, flawed studies or are just pulled out of their arses, that 90%+ of DV victims are women. The police have a policy where, even if the man is the one who calls to report a female perpetrator, they arrest the man first by default, again because it's presumed that the man must be the aggressor.

That's just one example of the way they lie and push for anti-male policies that favour women. They do the exact same thing in all areas - education, employment, crime, child custody, divorce etc.

Your version of feminism is reasonable, fair, based on common sense. You have almost no power, other than your vote which is nothing in comparison. You don't push for policies, you write things on the internet - mostly defending feminism - basically defending the above.

I know the textbook definition of Feminism supports your points on this MyTake, but quite frankly, that does not matter anymore. You can claim "real" Feminists don't hate men, and these same "real" Feminists don't force women into roles they want, and you can say those type of women described are "Feminazis", but many people these days associate Feminists with Feminazis. In other words, the term has been completely ruined by modern day idiots who claim to be "Feminists."

I'll use an example: Have you ever head of an "Incel?" It's just a short-term for someone who is involuntarily celebrate. Since there are no requirements to be a politician, there is no way you can measure qualification between the genders. Sure, men are more politically involved and informed, but that in of itself doesn't mean they're more qualified.

Plus it's one teensy point I made in my whole rant, one which I feel isn't very important. Though it's a good sign that it's the only thing people had a problem with, as it means everything else I said isn't questionable.

Also, I was thinking of Trudeau's cabinet when I said this, where he made sure it was 50/50 men and women for no reason in particular other than equality. I also highly doubt it's the only thing people had a problem with, I think it was just the most outwardly uneducated thing and therefore the most reasonable thing to address first. As for my rudeness towards the other user, I have disdain towards men who defend feminism, since they're obviously just posturing to get in good with women, and they don't actually care for improving the world.

If you look up statistics, women have actually become less happy over time as they've entered the workforce.

Yeah, working sucks, but what makes it worthwhile for men to work? When they're providing for a loving family that gives them purpose and a legacy. Women who work don't have kids, and if they do then they have too much on their plate to be a good mother or employee. And no, women don't want stay at home dads as partners.

Women entering the workforce also doubled the available labor, effectively halving earning power of the average worker.

What we say, is that feminazi have taken over the feminist movement and are now dictating what the movement stands for, and what it needs to do.

Feminist ideology requires the belief that women are exactly the same as men (they are not) and that it was men who oppressed women and thus its men who are morally inferior to women and are the enemy (they did not and are not). That means some one is "forcing" these differences and by the reasoning of feminist it is men who are forcing men and women to behave a certain way. This is the root of patriarch theory and that is an absolute fact. Their claims themselves are factually incorrect either through omission (when they claim that women couldn't vote and this was sexism while neglecting to mention that men couldn't vote either (only gaining the right 67 years before women in the US and that was ONLY because unlike women men where forcibly conscripted into the military and bucket brigades and the like. This was great, I TRULY am a real feminist, I believe in the equality of both genders with neither having any superiority to the other, the term is used too quickly and therefore the meaning got misunderstood and so when people hear the word feminist, they think bad things <3

That's what this is all about. We shouldn't be blind that there is still misoginy in the world, even where the equity has been acknowledged. However, we also can't demand irrational nor impossible things.

The problem with some groups is that they don't even know what they want, because once they have it, they are still unhappy and offended. Eg, they demand that women should dress like they want, like men, but if women dress like in a bikini or like men, they complain because they see it sexist or like lustful men would want.

The first thing here is, if people start to use one word to describe something completely different, the original meaning is lost. Look at "calories". If somebody hat to eat food worth of 2000 calories a day, they would starve to death. It's kcal. Thousand times more. But who cares?
The second thing is that women formed that movement and pushed forward and didn't stop when they reached their goals. Nowadays women have more benefits than men do (ie. retirement age discrepancy), less duties than men do (expecting a man to be a breadwinner is okay, expecting that woman will be able to cook is suddenly sexist), they are constantly playing victim (extremely shifted divorce childcare rates, men that are abused by a woman and nobody believes them) and they earn even more privileges as time passes. In 20-30 years, current "feminists" will be perceived as communists today. They also tried to "equalize" everything. Check your history book and see how it ended.

A lot of guys call women feminist and feminazi just to call a woman names. I guess a lot of guys are tired of calling women b*tch - a lot of women will turn it around, now, and say: "You're the b*tch!!" so guys had to find another name to call women. But it's still just name-calling, usually when a woman stands up for herself and (as it says in the book: "Are Men the Weaker Sex") the guy doesn't like that. He wants a woman to "put up and shut up" and when she doesn't, he acts like a brat and starts name-calling.
But you know the ol' expression: People who throw mud, lose ground. ;)

Your myTake is common sense. I would have also added that simply because you support women's rights (which is what a Feminist is) doesn't mean that you don't support men and the rights of others.

People who call themselves Egalitarian (who support equality and rights for all individuals) are also by definition Feminists. I just think the squabbling over the word itself is infantile as well as the assumption that "most" Feminists are "radical" because there is no truth to that. Some are, some aren't, and that's common sense (which a lot of people lack).

I agree, that's one of the biggest problem with the debate climate today. People only care about what label the other person use, not their arguments. A feminists who debates an anti-feminist Egalitariab is going to be against everything they say, and vice versa, simply because they don't use the same term to describe themselves.

Thank you! I understand what they're saying. I do. I am an Egalitarian. I am also a Feminist. I would like to join the Men's Liberation Movement as well. We all think that men and women deserve equal rights.

I feel that people let what they hear and see influence their perceptions instead of being rational about the situation. Then there are people who are so off their rocker with their assumptions, lack of logic, and pure hatred of anything associated with Feminism that civil conversation isn't going to happen. There are Feminists like that as well.

Everyone should be targeting the issues with pure logic: not the name and not making assumptions.

yeah I'm still not on board as soon as a girl tells me she is a feminist I run for the hills why? because feminist only want what benefits them I never seen a single feminist fighting for how unfair divorce is to men and how we should abolish child support because men are not banks.

Another thing is that I'mpor-choice but what bugs me is that we men should have the right to give up paternity if we are not ready to be a father same as a woman should have the right to abort the baby.

I wish we could just stand together as living beings not as feminist, feminazi, sexist... etc. I wish we would just stand for eachother and not get divided into groups that battle against eachother. It would just be nice for everyone to try their best in being excepting to one another, and if you think I’m just making this claim to women than that’s bullshit, I’m talking about everyone and everything; weather it’s homosexuals or transgender, if it’s women or men; black, white, or purple... just exist. Well said, I would agree with men and women doing the same amount of work should get payed that same, the issue I see with the idea that in all aspects of life men and women should be treated the same, a fight is the main thing that comes to mind ovously if a women is trained she could kick any mans ass personally I think gal gadot vs the rock would be an even match she wonder women for a reason girl was a combat instructor in the Isralie military.
