I have a close friend and confidante in a recovery program who is an awesome young man. He’s actually my sponsor.

He leans progressive and I’m a moderate conservative. We have some differences on opinions with politics. But both of us know some subjects are just off limits. But we respect each other very much otherwise.

But I notice women more than men seem to make very quick and easy judgments about people when they don’t agree with their politics. The only time they give men a (semi) pass is if they find the man physically attractive. But even then it’s only a semi buffer.

To be fair men can be like this too. I’ve seen time and time again where guys seemingly “agree” with a woman’s political POV only if they want to sleep with her. I find that to be absolutely beyond pathetic simp bs.

There was a time many years ago when politically opinionated women actually liked it when guys disagreed with them (because it showed the guy had a backbone). But those times are long past ever since Trump first got elected in 2016. So I usually change the subject/don’t respond in those scenarios. If she keeps going off on it then I won’t associate with her anymore. But I will never change my core beliefs just to impress a woman.

But I find that men I disagree politically are easier to get along with in the real world (definitely not on GAG) then women are. Just as long as we have common ground on something else.

5 FINANCIAL COMMANDMENTS FOR MEN IN RELATIONSHIP.

1. Keep your salary a secret from her or still tell her the wrong figure. If she knows she will be so entitled to it bro.

2. Never disclose how much savings you have.. its better for you that way that your financial life remains a mystery to her.

3. Don't go broke trying to impress a woman, the truth is they don't fvcking care about you, if you end up broke they will dump you, use your story to advice their new guy and also their brother

4. It's better woman call you stingy than her calling you cheerful giver & laugh at when broke.

5. Take your financial life more seriously than the relationship, you will never eat love my brother. When you are poor you will understand the saying that goes like earth is hard.

Its easy to find her replacement when you have money than when you are broke.
