Guys’ egos tend to be more fragile than they like to admit… and girls look for security more than they like to admit… ergo the guy impressing the girl. It makes him feel valuable to her and makes her feel safe and happy to be with him.


Next, girls like to be wooed a little — yeah, even the super professional ones. It makes us feel special and lets us know the guy has a romantic side.

Actually, I think both sides do effort at some point. Not just men. But of course, a masculine man will always be the one who leads, then the feminine woman reciprocates with that.

Men are the dominant ones by nature. Men penetrate. Women are penetrated. That should tell you which is more likely to be assertive in the dynamic between men and women.

However, I will say that in this day and age, women should be encouraged to approach men that they're interested in as well. Guys like to feel desired as much as women. And we rarely get anywhere near as much attention as girls. I think we need to break the societal norm that "only men should should approach women and if you don't approach women, you aren't a real man".
