So, the thing is, I really like wearing black clothing. It has no other meaning behind it whatsoever. I am not trying to appear skinny, or edgy or whatever. I simply like the color and it makes me feel comfortable. It's not the goth clothing or anything, it's simply black sneakers, black jeans, and a black tshirt/sweater/hoody. Nothing flashy. Very rarely I'll throw in a navy blue or dark grey, but that's about it. Furthermore my energy is quite normal, I am friendly, I smile, talk and make jokes and all that, I am not depressed or anything.

My friend has recently pointed out to me that people, especially girls, are gonna find me creepy because of my clothing choice.

My question to you is, would you associate any form of negative emotions/prejudices towards someone who wears black 90% of the time?

Some women can be super weird but it seems to me like it’s swept under the carpet and not called out

Like how this one woman kept staring at me and my friends who are girls were like oh she’s into you but if I was to keep staring at a woman as a guy it could be labelled more easily as weird or creepy but the thing is that it is just staring either way. Why is the woman’s behaviour seemingly excused but the man’s isn’t?

I think it’s creepy. I don’t think girls have the slightest clue how much it bothers dudes to be called creepy. The worst aspect is most of the time they say it, it’s directed at a guy who doesn’t even deserve it.
