It's a Front Desk assistant at a Holiday Inn. I applied for it a year ago, and got interviewed, but I didn't get the job. This time, he's hiring two people, which increases my chances. It's similar to my current job in many ways, and I get 5 8 hours days and a proper lunch break, instead of 4 10 hour days and no lunch break, which I currently have, and I would also get a bunch of benefits and employee discount. And I would probably be working graveyard, so I wouldn't be as busy, and even if it was, it wouldn't be as hectic or stressful, because I'd only have to one thing.

Problem is though, starting wage is $1 to $2 less than what I'm currently making, but at the hotel job I have a better chance of getting a raise and promotion. And it's full time, so there's no way to max out my hours. But the biggest issue is that I'm a travelman, and I know I won't be able to get time off for at least 6 months, and my plan was to work through the summer, then take a couple weeks off after Labor Day. Honestly, this is the biggest factor that's keeping from reapplying. The best thing about my current job, is that they are extremely lenient when it comes to time off.

But I also don't know if it's worth going through the effort to reapply, if they rejected me last time, since chances are they'll probably reject me again for the same reasons. From what I gathered, it seemed like they were looking for someone with prior hotel experience, although I told him I work at a campground and its very similar.

Also, I have a Bachelor's degree, so a hotel job would be more respectable then my current one.
I only restarted my current job in March, after being off for 10 months. But like I said, the vacation is the biggest determining factor for me.

What should I do?

I truly am trying understand. I want to know if you ladies chose to go through the months of labor and have a child within a marriage or outside a marriage.

I know Canada sucks but surely their Constitution prevents someone making people work against their will? Surely , you can't put people in prison and freeze their bank accounts for giving their earned money to someone they want to?

How can he get by with this? I thought slave labor was ended in North America 150 years ago.

A YouTuber I know (Itsagundam) said this. It's also been said throughout various forms of media, including an episode of Seinfeld. How women are soft and have soft skin and it's not in female nature for them to do manual labor, or deal with depression, or to ask people out on dates and get harshly rejected dozens of times for it, and not be expected to complain or grow bitter by it, like men are expected to daily.

There's even that female author, Norah Vincent, who lived undercover as a man for an entire year in 2006 and got depression from it because life as a man was extremely harder and society is unsympathetic to male suffering.

I 100% do think it's true. This isn't to take anything away from women, but it is what it is. Men get sh*t on in society way worse than women do. Men are often seen as workhorses and pawns - to their employers, to their wives, to their children, to society, etc - and nothing more, and don't even get enough proper outlets to destress or vent out their frustrations or work on their mental health because men are supposed to be stoic and never complain.

And this is all even before the woke BS of the 2010's that tries to over-inflate women, while attacking and being unapologetically sexist to men. Something that is still going on today, by the way. So society is not only harder on men, but also less grateful towards men, as well. But tells women that they are the ones who "have it worse."

So yeah, I agree with him regarding the quote.
