A YouTuber I know (Itsagundam) said this. It's also been said throughout various forms of media, including an episode of Seinfeld. How women are soft and have soft skin and it's not in female nature for them to do manual labor, or deal with depression, or to ask people out on dates and get harshly rejected dozens of times for it, and not be expected to complain or grow bitter by it, like men are expected to daily.
There's even that female author, Norah Vincent, who lived undercover as a man for an entire year in 2006 and got depression from it because life as a man was extremely harder and society is unsympathetic to male suffering. "Self-Made Man"DO YOU THINK THIS IS TRUE?
I 100% do think it's true. This isn't to take anything away from women, but it is what it is. Men get sh*t on in society way worse than women do. Men are often seen as workhorses and pawns - to their employers, to their wives, to their children, to society, etc - and nothing more, and don't even get enough proper outlets to destress or vent out their frustrations or work on their mental health because men are supposed to be stoic and never complain.
And this is all even before the woke BS of the 2010's that tries to over-inflate women, while attacking and being unapologetically sexist to men. Something that is still going on today, by the way. So society is not only harder on men, but also less grateful towards men, as well. But tells women that they are the ones who "have it worse."
So yeah, I agree with him regarding the quote.

I'm not surprised that none of the women would admit that most guys have it hard in modern Western society, while women are given every single advantage and still find ways to fail or complain about "inequality" towards them. I thought at least MORE women would be less selfish and be more empathetic towards men, but I'm not surprised none of them are.

I think it would be hard for a women to do what a man does and vice versa, just because we're different and value different things, even if our problems were equivalent.
But getting at the problems, yes, women have it easy. At all points of my life in almost every problem I've faced, being a woman would have made it easier. This was evident to me as young as 5 from personal experiences with crime, day-to-day treatment, growing up with a younger sister, in a foster family with another girl and her younger brother it was the same, social customs, etc. There are also more objective measures from disparities in criminal punishment and the legal system, chivalrous customs like male conscription or saving women and children first under any danger, the disproportionate number of social programs, charity, and support for women even where men are worse affected by the same or similar issues like cancer, homelessness, suicide, domestic abuse. Even for the one issue I can think of where women may have it worse with rape, in my country even if a man is handcuffed down and ridden until death, the woman won't be convicted of rape; the legal definition excludes it.
All that was external evaluation, but I also feel internally an impulse to be extra kind and servile when I'm dealing with a woman as opposed to a man. It's similar to how I get happy when I see a dog or a child, hence the quote "only women, children, and dogs are loved unconditionally" rings extremely true to me. Special treatment is generally reserved for women. Ultimately, both men and women care about women more than they care about men.
Even historically, there are very few times and places where I would rather be a man than a woman. Now is one of the safest times for men too, and I'd still rather be a woman for the better treatment, even if feminism never happened.
I have nothing against decent women, but they can NEVER admit failure or loss, at anything. Modern women are constantly trying to one-up men at everything, even at things they shouldn't be. "No, OUR lives suck more!" Only a few women can admit they have it easier in life at almost everything, but especially when it comes to social treatment. I'm open to discussing it more with them, but they can never "prove" anything. It's just "We say so, cause we're always right."
As for rape, men are actually raped more than women are, in real life. Women exaggerate things as being "rape" more often nowadays (like consensual regret sex), while most men who are raped, are done so in prison, but no one cares "cause they're prisoners."
Even on this site there is a bias between the blues and pinks on polls. I know it's hard for some people to think, but this has been going on since the late '60s and "woke" is just the new "fashionable" name for it. It's not really new. The fruits of it are now completely here in society though.
I also try not to let that negativity about the gender disparities get the best of me, but at the same time it's not unavoidable.
The irony is that western women have it better than women have have had it in all of human history. But are they truly happy? Nope. They have to INVENT bs to be upset about because the drama gives them a since of validation.
I am not talking about all women of course. There are a minority of decent ones out there. I won’t hesitate to commend the classy ones. But they are sadly few and far between.
That Norah Vincent documentary was revolutionary too. She’s started out as the lesbian feminist type but she had fortitude to really see what it was like in the man’s world. She’s outright says during a later interview that the vast majority women have absolutely NO idea of the struggles men go through.
And it’s true. Most women don’t care. They might pay lip service for social posturing but in reality they are clueless about the bs men have to deal with. The only time they care is when there is something in it for them (they are already interested in the guy).

@mcheetah there are some things that as men we need to collectively do to fight this shit. And I am not talking about holding signs and protesting.
1. We got to stop rewarding and tolerating shitty female behavior. Yell back and women who slight or insult you in both the public and private environments. Never ever tolerate friéndzone bs in dating. Learn to identify exploitative behavior and be ready to walk away and mean it. Never look back.
2. As men we got to stop throwing each other under the bus to impress women. This bs happens a lot.
3. We need to organize in men’s rights groups that have strong principles to not go down the “incel route”. That is it can’t devolve into hate but rather focus on principles and truth.
4. When we do see real sexist assholes (or worse rapists) we need to call it out. There is a minority of guys who still do this shit. We can’t be hypocrites.
Last but not least we need to stay positive about women. This is tough. But we got to try to keep having a sense of humor and taking chances. We need to do all this but simultaneously keep our guards up. This tough. Really tough. I get it you and I feel very jaded and for good reason. But still we got remain positive.
I'm already way ahead of you with all of that stuff. Although I wouldn't call myself an MRA. Everything except the "stay positive about women" part. No. I can't do that. Do you stay positive to your abuser, as well? I'm not going stay positive about women at all, but to not be a "sexist," the same applies to men, too. I'm not really keen on humanity, in general.
Yes. This is true of many men too but fewer men. I wouldn't count on that being true in 20-30 years if nothing changes tho. I saw a documentary by an Indian scholar where he argues that the reason Genghis Khan did not invade India when he was chasing defeated enemy and could have easily invaded and taken all of India was that his philosophy rooted in principles and he was never after riches. Similar to Alexander the Great who didn't do things for personal wealth. The theory is that Genghis knew if his people became too wealthy they would become weak and lazy and he didn't want that. Now what do we see happening in the richest nations of the world? Weak people (men and women) becoming softer with every generation. People don't want to her it but greed is a cancer and feminism is a form of greed too. The end result of people focused on satisfying themselves above everything else is destruction.
I would like to point out that more women suffer from depression than men, at least according to diagnosed numbers. I do think society could afford to extend some more compassion for men.

Now you might say “well men should get help too” as they should. But in reality there are some Freudian dynamics going on here. Men know if they show outward signs of weakness they can and will lose respect. Reason being is that women have this attitude that “oh sure it’s fine guys are sensitive. Any man can be sensitive EXCEPT the man I am dating.” A huge part of all of this comes down to that. Men do recognize who women date vs who they reject/friendzone.
Men have given women almost everything they asked for and yet women are more depressed and stressed than ever. Maybe there's a connection? Of course feminists don't want to think about that.
@hahahmm what feminists push is unfortunately very seductive for many young impressionable women and/or women of any age who had a rough go with a few assholes. They remove all responsibility from the women for the predicaments they have in their own life. They just blame it on “patriarchy” and other crap.
I have one ex girlfriend who I loved very much. She was a moderate liberal and I am a long time moderate conservative. We got into debates but it was never hate.
Then she got involved with theater and started rubbing shoulders with the far left feminists. They poisoned her mind and she broke up with me. We had other legit problems but I noticed how she “changed” and it wasn’t in a good way.
