House passes Jewish anti semitism bill?

Having read it (it's not long), I can say that it doesn't actually DO much; it just adds "suspicion of Judaism" to the list of protected characteristics under the Civil Rights act (since Judaism itself is covered under "religion").

Insofar as it has nothing whatsoever to do with antisemitism, the name's an inaccuracy, too- but then, the whole point of this is to be seen to be doing something.

You cannot tell people what to say even if they're wrong and you disagree. This is true freedom of speech. You can be racist or sexist or anti semitic. The KKK was allowed to exist for a reason. Whether you like it or not that's freedom of speech it's not what you or the government consider to be okay.

It also says we can't hold them accountable for things they both did and didn't do. That is literally insanity.

I would just try to educate them, certainly wouldn't jail them. Muslims already hate us anyways, and many people would regard us as heroes for such an action, so that honestly wouldn't bother me

I feel like there would be some illogical hypocritical reason the Bible can stay. You just can't cite all the times God and his prophets punished the Jews and that they killed Jesus.

If they tried to ban it it's a massive violation of the first amendment which it already is in reality
