Is criticising Saudi Arabia islamophobic?
Is criticising Iran Shiaphobic?
Is criticising the dang Yankeeland Americophobic?
Some dude here called me, a Jew, an antisemite, for answering a question by stating a sexist law in Israel.

You should be able to separate the two, and there's plenty to criticize when it comes to the State of Israel. That being said there's a lot of criticism of the State of Isreal that has nothing to do with their policies that crosses the line into antisemitism. Protest their policies, protest their military actions, protest their occupation of Palestinian land all you want - that's legitimate criticism.
I love Thy answer, brother!
No, criticizing Isreal is not antisemitic unless the criticism is based on them being Jewish and not by the content of their character.
Thanks. Criticising others based on ethnicity is just plain wrong and totally not kosher.
To @Snakeyes7 you could say "FOREIGN laws are not important to you ". Really nobody cares about laws in other countries... except to nitpick israel in worse treatment.
@strateguy632 I'm not sure what you're getting at.

And what is "semetic" and what is the criticism? General criticism of policy is not, but criticizing the very state, is anti something.
Realize this is oriented to their book and "the knowledge of good and evil". This thought is inherently selfish! Humans are touchy that they don't like anything taken away from them and they don't like to be killed... run experiments on giving candy to a baby and taking it away and you'll see. I hang around with some Jewish people... very selfish... and their deli's are terrible. But I like them as people.
We'll, their own deity communicated to them for a long time... trying to refine them and in that process, they marched around looking for good land and ended up taking land from some other people. I don't know whom was there before those people. Apparently it was good land... but again, this is the "knowledge of good and evil"... they are a thorn sticking in the side of everyone else apparently... to refine humanity! It's their apparent purpose.
Even Jesus tried to "save" them but to no avail, when they heard the magic words "I am God", they decided to be true to their God and kill god in the present. oops!
In the end, God was fed up and threw them out and scattered them all over the world. They got blamed for financial problems and so someone tried to wipe them out... not above don't take peoples land and don't try to kill them, they get upset! No land and being systematically murdered tends to make people a little nutty... e. g. it's an emotional wound..."touchy"!!!
Remember this wisdom..."hurt people hurt people". And that is humanity. Again... this is selfishness and emotional wounds... the state of mankind.
At some point in history thereafter, man... not god, decided to put them back in the land they took from someone else, who was probably their distant relatives anyway... but very different people... so they could feel secure and safe. no-one else is systematically wiped out like that in history, persecuted... apparently, by their own god?
So the people that were there were kicked out and they took over. They really aren't "that bad", as long as you follow their rules.
...
I suggest you walk up to anyones house and tell them... "Hey, god sent me and said this place you have is mine, you've got a week to vacate. You've got a day to think about it.". I doubt this goes voer well and I suspect from this experiment... it will be considered "anti-Jones", or "anti-Smith".
President Kennedy found how how things go when you threaten them... not good.
Heck, if China said to America... "We were there first you idiots, our ancestors crossed the bering sea on foot and populated the land... you call them "Indians"... but they were Chinese!!"... so we are going to fly balloons over our land, a lot of it we've already purchased using your money, but we want the rest!" ... my guess is that is "anti-American".
So sir, the answer to your question is... it is "anti-Isreal" speak.
As to whether it is "anti semetic criticism"... I'd have to hear what you mean when you speak that.
I once looked up the Israeli law of rape, and it seems that women/females are allowed to rape men/males. There’s one aspect I have to criticise, although it has nothing to do with Yiddishkeit.
I never heard of, know little of it to judge.
If there's antisemitic proponga spread by terror organizations that are not even hiding the fact that extermination of the Jews is one of their main objectives, and you hear this proponga without knowing its source and the intentions behind it, and it says that Israeli soldiers are maliciously killing Palestinian children and rape Palestinian women and perform all kinds of atrocities, and you criticize Israel as a result, does that make you racist? Of course not. Just ignorant.
Ignorant on what? I knew about no raping Palestinian women by Israeli soldiers, I know many Israeli soldiers murder Palestinians and I criticise Israel on that, not because I hate Judaism (I don’t).
You're ignorant because you believe that. You say "I know..." . How do you know? Have you seen it in your own eyes? Even if you did, do you know what led to it? Do you know the circumstances?
A person with critical thinking wouldn't say "I know", they would maybe say "I've heard" or "I believe".
If you look at the big picture, most criticism of Israel is due to anti-Semitism and has an anti-Semitic intent. That doesn't mean all of it is, but when you look at most of it, it's clearly unbalanced or wholly anti-Israel, meaning that it comes from complete ignorance or a very strong bias against the world's only Jewish state. Since Israel's primary identity is Jewish, it follows that the bias is anti-Semitic.
Many Israelis are secular Jews, like my grandfather. I wonder how much of Israel is practising Judaism.
It's so stupid that Israel and Zionists have monopolised the term 'semitic' and hence 'anti-semetic' to whine about the justification for their apartheid state and the terrorism they cause in Palestine.
Yes. There’s a difference between anti-Zionist and antisemite. They can be Jews (Semitic) without being biased to Palestine.
You think that you have a N-Word Privileges, but a Self-Hating Jews are pretty well known.
Nu, I hate no-one, but do hate the idea of having a specifically Jewish state in a land that had settlers already and wanting to exterminate them. I hate Jews not. I hate Zionism.
It traitorous all the same, it's Muslims who stole Jewish Lands, exterminate? funny.

Muslims form a great people, over 1.6 billion individuals. Stealing is harām, dude.
No, Israel is a fascist state, they copy the Nazis, Judaism is a religion, completely different things,,,
How is it Fascist?
It can be based in that, but is not automatically so.
How can it be based in that?
Nobody even CARES about stuff outside of their lives.
You think i care or any American even CARES if Saudi arabia has a bad economic policy!!! Or has an outdated law! People only make a fuss about israel due to jew hatred.
In fairness, most Jews aren't Semites, and only a relative handful of Semites are Jews. And it's not like you can't hate a group you're a part of.
Just because a little of our blood is descended from Judea doesn’t mean there is none. I’m a Jew and hate Jews not. I am no Zionist and hate Zionism.
Semites aren't an ethnic group; they're a linguistic one. Most of them have nothing to do with historical Judea.
אני מתבר עברית רע, חבר. My father, like many other Israelites, is a Hebrew-speaking Jew.
"Most". Emphatically not "all". There are a heckuva lot more speakers of Arabic or Amharic than of Hebrew.
That makes sense. There are more Arabs in Israel and Palestine put together than there are Jews.
No.
I have nothing against Jews, but I have against the Israel government.
Tell me what. Am I curious!
What they are doing to Palestine
in todays world, you speak against the US and Israel you are committing blasphemy (pure observation)
Against whom?
Criticism for them and USA makes sense
Oy vey. I always bloody criticise them.
According to Jews it is.
Are you confused with Jews such as myself and Zionists?
Nope.
Tell Thee what: many rabbis are against the idea of a Jewish state.
