Israel has been on a 40 year propaganda blitz to paint themselves with abject victimhood. It's a little hard to believe any of it but it makes it easy to believe they have convinced themselves they are victims.

Yes you can. It's just that critique that I hear are more often than not, not balanced but rather completely and aggressively anti-Israel.
