Do you think the damage I have done is all reversible?

I started vaping at 19 and continued to 21

At 21 I started light smoking Marlboro red, this gradually increased to moderate smoking. Before you know it I was having a pack a day (20) sometimes slightly more everyday for months at a time, there were intermittent periods where I took small breaks or vaped instead but this continued to 25 and a half.

at 25 I stopped cigarettes and had a disposable vale everyday, smoked a couple packs in the year. Anyway I quit for got stuff 26 and a half. It’s been a month and I don’t look back. Only symptoms I’ve had are shortness of breath which goes away.

I really got caught up in living in the moment because now I feel stupid for what I have done.

My first wife was a smoker. I hated it and she eventually would go outside to smoke. After a few years, she quit because she needed surgery and the surgeon wouldn't proceed until she had stopped for at least 30 days. After our divorce, I never again dated a smoker.

"It's like kissing an ashtray" is a cliche, but it's true. And she smelled bad unless she had not smoked since taking a shower. And. . . my perception is that most smokers - men and women - are oblivious to the rights of others and don't care if their smoke is annoying you or triggering a migraine headache.

So. . . never again for me. How about you?
