Not just one, but having both at the same time.

Most of them live in the northern parts of Sub-Saharan Africa, where viruses like Ebola and cholera are everywhere. They are poor because they were French colonies, and their native languages have disappeared. They have no industry. They don't work in air-conditioned offices; they farm under the blazing sun in 50-degree heat. Their countries are strategic battlegrounds for the United States, China, and France. There are constant coups and instability, and it is these people who pay the price. They are looked down upon even by their fellow Muslims. (Racism against Black people is quite common in Berber and Arab countries.)

Because they are Muslims, they are automatically branded as pedophiles, rapists, terrorists who behead people and blow themselves up. (Black Christians are nowhere near as disadvantaged.)

When they try to move abroad and build a new life through hard work, they arrive before everyone else and leave after everyone else, yet they still endure those contemptuous looks.

Even in a CS game, when I introduced myself as a Black Muslim, the very first words I heard were the N-word, "pedophile," and "terrorist."

In this world, they have no one to turn to except Allah.

Project 2025. Easily.

That doesn’t mean I agree with every proposal in it. I don’t. Project 2025 is a sweeping conservative governing blueprint that would strengthen presidential control over the executive branch, reorganize federal agencies, reduce parts of the administrative state, and move federal policy sharply to the right.

But if the choice is between all of Project 2025 and all of the DSA’s current national program, I choose Project 2025 without hesitation.

The difference for me is constitutional. Project 2025 proposes major changes within our existing constitutional system. The DSA explicitly says it wants to “transform society,” create a “new political system,” “draft a new constitution,” and establish a “democratic socialist republic.”

Its program also calls for abolishing the Senate and Electoral College, replacing the President and Supreme Court with an executive and judiciary chosen by and subordinate to Congress, replacing the two-party system, greatly expanding public ownership, and moving beyond capitalism.

That distinction is decisive for me. I would rather fight politically over presidential power, federal agencies, and conservative policies within our constitutional republic than empower a movement whose stated objective is ultimately to replace major parts of that constitutional order.

So yes, forced to take either agenda in its entirety, I choose Project 2025. I want to preserve the constitutional United States we have, not replace it with the democratic socialist republic the DSA says it wants to build.
