Why do so many women ignore red flags and choose toxic guys?

I have seen many women,(especially my female friends who are in relationships, and those who are single)
Run after a guy who is not at all good.
It's like they can't even see the toxicity!.
When I tell them that these guys are just after sex and they are going to ruin your life.
They start complaining about me just things which aren't there.
And within 4weeks to 5 months. As soon as they break up or things go south they believe me, till then I am not going to be there friends too.
Mostly they don't even reach out.
I found out from someone else that shit happened.
And I fucking want to say out loud, I told you so.
I don't want to make them hurt.
There are guys who are going to be good. But they never choose them, those guys move on and don't want to get involved as they feel , they choose someone else.

There isn't a logical answer I guess, women are attracted to arrogance. And doesn't know the difference between arrogance and kindness. And men are mostly jealous of that arrogant man. That's my opinion I have arrived upon. But you're welcome to speculate.

It's an interesting read on some of their conclusions and descriptions of each dark triad trait, behaviors, perceptions, etc.

Personally, i have my own suspicions.
Women have openly described men as "easy", one track mind, lacking self respect, liars, weak, sassy, etc

Older women have said "you used to be able to pick a man off the street".

So in my mind I have to wonder what changed?
Many cultural things.
Men's biology, hormones, sperm count.
Female's culture, feminism, birth control.

I think men's tolerance of women's bad behavior, disrespect, lack of boundaries has a lot to do with it.

Also, consider that before women's sexual liberation, fathers had a lot to do with mate selection. The simultaneous removal of this boundary throughout America has influence. Human nature is naturally curious. Women were not allowed to go there for a long time, and so it goes.

Aside from all this, bad boys tend to stand up for themselves and not tolerate disrespect. Again if the average man did this, it would be a great equalizer.

A sense of danger, but also being with someone who is dangerous. I've heard women say "he's dangerous to others, but he likes me". This can make a woman feel special and protected.

Also. My mother used to tell me women like to feel as if they have tamed a man. That deserves some thought.

Personally, I think it speaks to women's values and character. They (not all) choose people that have a similar toxicity, selfishness, inflated self worth, and dismissiveness towards others.

Often women describe changing priorities later in life, but realistically they just running out of options, because you can tell by their language they would still choose it if they could.

It's quite the interesting topic on its own. Our society has been affected in so many ways by so many factors, we are very much a product of our rat pen (behavioral sink, look it up, will change your perspective).

Also birth control is not without blame. This warrants a Google search, but shortly, it disrupts woman's hormones and affects their mate choices. Women on birth control pick weaker males. Also, women's sense of smell causes them to pick men with an immune system that has opposite strengths to theirs, creating better offspring with both immune systems. Birth control negatively affects this and reverses it.

Ladies this is not to judge.

Men were raised on Homer Simpson & the like. Being misled by schools, culture, television, CIA propaganda (yes the CIA was involved in the roots of feminism), weak fathers, the disappearance of male teachers and strong male role models.
Endocrine disruptors in literally every food.
It's a recipe for destroying masculinity and society.

Stupidity mainly. She probably comes from a single parent houseld with no father or any strong make role models. So is completely clueless as to what a good man looks and acts like. It's likely learned behavior from her mother who probably didn't know it either (which is why she ended up a single mother). These women lacking this crucial bonding skill typically fall back on their feelings and biology which is genetally the worst choice she can make. It almost always ends badly and continues the cycle of single motherhood when she chooses poorly, gets knocked up, and tossed in the gutter.

My guess is inexperience. They probably don't know what it's really like to be with that kind of guy and haven't experienced the true horror of it. Sometimes it takes a real nightmare to be able to recognize the toxicity. I hadn't dated until my late 20s and I realized late in the game that I was with an abuser. Coercive control, SA, digital monitoring and stalking, role reversal, weaponized incompetence, guilt trips and emotional manipulation when he didn't get his way. I didn't know how to react to it at first because I wasn't expecting that, and I didn't have a blueprint or anything to compare it to because of inexperience and being a "late bloomer", so to speak. I recognized it eventually, thankfully. Sometimes red flags don't look like red flags until it's too late. However, when two of my best friends pointed out the red flags, I listened to them because their perspective made sense and I could see it too.
