Let's say he's perfect on paper.

tall, educated, handsome, fit. no kids, no baggage, no crazy exes.

got his life together and is saying all the right things. but when you take a look at his dating history, he's had 4 relationships (over a year) with women that were all fine asl. professional women with something going for themselves and all of them baddies in every sense of the word

but he ended it every time. the reasons are always vague, he doesn't really want to talk about it. when pressed he says something like "we were in different stages in life" or "we wanted different things"

he wasn't cheating, you confirmed that.

I have no preference. I've dated both short and tall girls and tbh I would even date a woman taller than me.. if I ever meet one lol.

We’re too soft on women.

I tried tinder for 12 hours and I got 5 likes and one match by a 35 old woman.

Then I tried tinder with a handsome looking white guy, 18 likes and 40 matches in the same time from girls I could only dream of ☹️

What can I do? It’s just too competitive. Every pretty girl wants the most best best guy out there. It’s not fair because I’m a good looking tall guy.

Do I literally just have to stay single and never procreate. Or date a girl I’m not attracted to?

Tall women, would you actually give a shorter guy a chance? Would you actually date a guy who is more than an inch shorter than you and are you capable of being attracted to a short man? No need to be politically correct or virtuous here, I am trying to quantify this question into data so please be brutally honest! Thanks :)

If I was not in a relationship, and I bought a brass lamp at the antique store, and the geni in the lamp could deliver the girl of my dreams. . . she would be an older version of the girl in this photo. BUT. . . after 50+ years of dating and relationships, I have dated only one woman who came close to this ideal; she was REALLY hot (but she was eventually revealed to be a drug abuser and a horrible potential partner for me.) I have dated women who were taller, heavier, not blonde, more endowed upstairs, not as cute, etc. Many of those women were very good dating partners and many of them appealed to me in a lustful way! I am engaged now and my fiancee looks NOTHING like this photo, but she's a GREAT match for me! So, if you ask me about my ideal woman, I can describe her but this ideal ("my type") has really eluded me all of my life. That's okay.

So. . . what about you? How often have you dated someone who was a good match for your ideal guy or girl?
