Anyone else hate how tall or short you are?

I personally hate being short there’s just too many negatives with it. First no one takes you seriously and always made fun of, and if get even slightly aggressive your automatically given a “complex” or your “bitter”. Plus it sucks being in crowds cuz you can’t see. Though it is way easier to move through crowds.
Plus everything is built for average sized people not tall or short. If your too tall it’s hard to fit but if your too short you can’t reach. Plus the whole women thing. Yeah some short guys find love but a lot dont. I mean I literally just read an article a women wrote how she usually spends more time worrying if her date will be short instead of being a serial killer.

The only thing I hate about it is not being able to fit everywhere or find clothes that fit me. Even though people are much taller, these days, everything is STILL made for midgets and is getting smaller all the time!! 4 years ago, a friend of mine was giving me a ride home from the store in her brand new car. It was one of those big boxy things, it was called, Soul. It looked like a refrigerator on wheels! No matter how we adjusted the seat, I STILL had to squeeze in in a very uncomfortable position and had my knees in my chin!! Thankfully, I only lived 1.5 miles away!! My aunt's car was made in 2010 and I can barely fit behind the wheel if I wanna use it! I can't just sit on the seat and turn to my right, I have to put my right leg in, first, then slide over on the seat, pull in my left leg and try to put my foot on the pedal. 25 years ago, I was easily able to fit into a Ford Festiva L!!
I went looking for shoes a few years ago. I wear a 16 EEE. The stores only sell shoes up to 13 or 14 because, these days, us giants walk barefoot everywhere or don't need shoes bigger than 13!! However, they DO have 18's!! Those are for people half a foot taller than me!! But, NOBODY sells 16's!!

The other thing I hate about it is that, girls claim they like tall guys! Well, I'm a tall guy! Why don't I have a girlfriend? I've been alone for 23 years!! Most girls I try to get as a girlfriend will only go as far as being a friend!
However, at the same time, they also CLAIM they want a kind, sweet, loving guy that treats them quite well. Well? That's me!! But, they STILL ALWAYS chase after the guys that are raging assholes and abuse the fuck out of them!! Obviously, they don't have a CLUE what they want!! As far as I can tell, they want short abusive guys!!

Damn dude what’s your problem with short guys lol. I understand your frustration with not getting a girlfriend but don’t claim short men are abusive. There are a lot of abusive people all shapes sizes and colors.

6' 9"!
A few years ago, my boss wanted me to move one of the company cars to the back parking lot. In order for me to get in the car, I had to get in feet first and take a deep breath to be able to squeeze in!!

I would expect to be able to fit!1 There''s loads of people taller than me that have nop trouble getting clothes or fitting in certain places!
What I'm talking about is, about 150 years ago, they were building houses with 12 to 15 foot high ceilings! In the meantime, the people that lived in them weren't much more than 4' tall!! Now, people are growing to well over 7" and the houses being built have ceilings 7' high!! In the `30's, people were only about 5' tall but, a new car had so much room in it, you could play a game of baseball inside it!! Today, people are 2' taller than that and cars are so small I expect to see a couple dozen clowns get out of one when it parks near me!!

The house I spent most of my life in was built in 1900. It had 10' high ceilings. The people that built it weren't much more than 5' tall. I could almost touch the ceilings if I stood on my toes.
The house I'm in now was built in 1963. My head nearly scrapes the ceilings!

I'm short. It never bugged me. I've never banged my head on anything. All my tall friends do constantly and it looks like it really really sucks.

I'm 5'7" myself. I would say learn to deal with it because to me it does sound like you have a complex over it. Your height is your height - there is no changing it - accept it and move on. People don't treat me worse or not take me seriously because of my height. You are right about it being a little harder to date, but it's definitely far from impossible. I've had relationships with taller women even because I have never let my height be a limiting factor for my self-confidence.

It helps if you're able to poke fun at yourself for your shortcomings. :)

No. When I was little, my doctor told my parents I might grow to be 6'6". I'm 6'2". I'm perfectly happy not being an enormous tower and don't have to get all my clothes special-ordered like my 6'10" good friend and former roommate.

I am 5'7 and just accepted my height as I never grew past the age of 19 years old. Only thing that sucks is clothes is too big, I wear large and itd kinda baggy unless I go for a medium which is too tight. Same with pants though I been wanting to go a size lower for the length so they don't look baggy.

I'm 5'10 and I wouldn't want to be taller. I like to travel and seats tend to be smaller on planes/trains/ferries etc. I wouldn't want to fly coach if I was over 6'

I have and strangely as it still is to me gotten grief over being tall at 5 foot 10 inches! I'm 6 feet with my boots on, something that I was led to believe at a much younger age to be normal height.
