I honestly thought Ms. Conway spoke of feminazism (the one with the misandrists) and not the genuine feminism (the one with the egalitarians).

Here's what Kellyanne Conway, President Donald Trump's counselor, disclosed in a conference on Thursday.

“It’s difficult for me to call myself a feminist in a classic sense because it seems to be very anti-male, and it certainly is very pro-abortion, and I’m neither anti-male or pro-abortion. So, there’s an individual feminism, if you will, that you make your own choices. … I look at myself as a product of my choices, not a victim of my circumstances.”

“You know, this whole sisterhood, this whole ‘let’s go march for women’s rights’ and, you know, just constantly talking about what women look like or what they wear or making fun of their choices or presuming that they’re not as powerful as the men around. This presumptive negativity about women in power, I think, is very unfortunate.”

In response to Ms. Conway, Merriam-Webster tweeted a definition of feminism:

I don't think Merriam-Webster is wrong with its definition of feminism but the deed of throwing a definition like that is blatant, to me, because both Conway and Merriam-Webster view feminism in contrasting perspectives (hence, I think both of their stances make sense).

Was her perception really that 'faulty'?

I feel like I see a lot of conservative leaning or ultra conservative guys my age.. but most girls my age seem really liberal. Or else just completely apolitical.

I don't really care much about politics.. but I'm starting to more so the older I get. In a lot of ways I'm very open minded but I feel like I have a lot of traditional beliefs, which a lot of people might not realize.

In the end I'd consider myself a mostly moderate, but maybe somewhat right leaning libertarian.

I'd consider myself very conservative when it comes to the economy. One thing that frustrates me about my generation is how we seem to want to have everything handed to us. It seems like we'd rather live in a socialist nanny state which is a complete departure from this country's ideals.

I work hard (whether people consider my work valid or not) and I make more than most people twice my age. It's ridiculous to me to think that I should be punished for that.. so some deadbeat won't have to pay for an education I'd never had the luxury of receiving.

I'm also really conservative when it comes to immigration and foreign policy. People my age have never known anything but total freedom.. so they're naive to the things that need to be done to protect that. We have to be realistic about this country's infrastructure and not allow political correctness to dictate policy.

I'm also not a feminist based on its current incarnation. I'm okay with women being women and men being men.. sue me. I do think women should be allowed to work and contribute but I also feel like some gender roles exist for a reason and allow us to function as a team.. I do not want to abolish that.
