What I've Noticed About the Following Groups/Communities and My Opinions on Them

ADFSDF1996

I'm sure we all have personal opinions on various groups and communities, here are my opinions.

1.) MGTOW

I know, a lot of people tend to look down on them. However, even though I'm not part of the MGTOW community, I still have some respect for them because they do value men's rights and they don't hurt anyone.

2.) White knights/male feminists

Just do you know, the word "white knight" meant something good but now it has a negative meaning. Now white knight is usually used to describe male feminists. I personally don't think highly of white knights/male feminists because of their behavior. I've browsed through Facebook comments just for fun and I've noticed that white knight activity is common on social media. Usually those white knights get destroyed by everyone since the white knights I refer to only come to the aid of women. I've haven't noticed any white knights in public but I've seen videos of white knights coming to the aid of a "damsel", it literally takes at least 4-6 white knights just to handle one guy.

3.) Bullshido community

*sighs, Originally I thought this community was a good martial arts community but sadly I was mistaken. This community is a group that supposedly tries to expose "fake martial arts", it claims to debunk fake martial arts which seems like a noble cause but unfortunately it uses it's so called "hard truth" attitude to try to debunk stuff. Too bad for them, every once in a while, one of the martial arts they like to talk trash about ends up proving it's authenticity. I do like the concept of this community but unfortunately it's not what I thought it was. It turned out to be a biased community. Here is a major flaw from this community, it only favors certain types of martial arts and It refuses to listen to opposing views. Personally I think it needs a makeover.

4.) Anime community

I personally don't have anything against these people but I do know that a lot of rude people tend to hate on these people for no reason. Of course obsessions are not exactly a good thing, that's when anime people start to get called "weaboos" If you like Anime good for you, if you don't like anime then good for you as well.

5.) Men's rights activist community

A community that fights against misandry. People always get the wrong idea about this community, some people think it's misogynistic, alt right anti LGBT but in reality it's none of those things. This is a social movement promoting men's rights, there are both men and women, people of all races, all religions, various political beliefs and sexual orientations. Of course there are a few bad apples(racists, misogynists, homophobes) but the majority of the people in this social movement are true Egalitarians.

6.) SJWs(misandrists, extreme left wing)

You probably know all about these people and you already know that I'm not too fond of them. They think masculinity is a bad thing(misandrists) and they only care about certain people. I don't agree with their views but I respect their rights to believe whatever they want to believe.

7.) Alt Right, White nationalists/White supremacists

Obviously I don't support these people. I've listened to things they've said on videos. They usually end up contradicting what they say. On social media, they'll deny they are bigots but but later on they use racial slurs. I don't agree with their views either but I still acknowledge that they also have rights to believe whatever they want to believe.

8.) History changers/culture stealers

Usually it's bigots that try to change history, they usually try to explain without evidence that one race had major influence in developing every culture. These history changers' theories are always debunked by actual historians.

9.) Liberals

There is nothing wrong with liberalism, plus I have liberal friends but it's the extreme liberals that tend to anger a lot of people including myself due to their very extreme ways of thinking. Again, there is nothing wrong with liberalism.

10.) Conservatives

Likewise, I don't have anything against conservatives either, in fact I also have conservative friends. Similar to how a lot people including myself, don't trust extreme liberals, a lot of people including myself don't trust extreme conservatives, due to their extreme views. Once again I say, there is nothing wrong with conservatism.

11.) Moderates/independent

When it comes to politics, I agree with some conservative views and some liberal views. I'm sure you know that I'm not the only person that advocates moderates, a lot of people actually are moderates.

12.) Egalitarians/civil rights activists

I have a lot of respect for these people, they've been fighting for human rights all over the world and they are still around.

13.) Wehraboos

Basically they are people who are extremely fascinated by the Wehrmacht(WWII German army). There is nothing wrong with being interested in Historical figures like the Wehrmacht but the problem is when they start to become neo nazis because of it. A lot of these so called German army history pages on social media is actually filled with neo nazis. However, I'm not saying everyone that is fascinated by the Wehrmacht is a neo Nazi. A person shouldn't become a bigot just because they are a Wehraboo. I know that Prussian/German traditions and culture is pretty neat but remember there is a difference between interest and obsession.

14.) HEMA fanboys/girls

While the concept of HEMA(Historical European Martial Arts) seems like a neat concept, it tends to attract the wrong people that tend to hurt HEMA's reputation. These are HEMA fan boys/fan girls, they are people that think old European weapons, martial arts and warfare is the best. A funny hobby these people have is that they constantly like to trash talk the Katana. Now, of course I'm not saying the Katana is some kind of super weapon, I'm saying that most of these HEMA fan boys/fan girls don't really know that much about the weapons and martial arts they claim are superior to all other weapons. They complain about the Katana being over hyped, yet they do the same thing about HEMA. They claim the Ulfberth, Cutlass, Zweihander etc are the best. They even claim Glima is the best martial art. All these claims are often disputed. Obviously there is no such thing as a "best" martial art.

Let's be fair to the HEMA fans, they are not entirely at fault here, the people that are called Weaboos are constantly claiming that the Katana is a super sword. That's when the HEMA fans and Weaboos constantly clash. There are two problems here, one is that both sides(HEMA and Weaboo) don't know that much about what they arguing about. Two, both sides are biased. So basically when the "weaboos" and HEMA fanboys clash it's like "my daddy is better than your daddy" kind of conflict.

However, the voice of reason(Historians and weapon experts) usually shows up in these arguments and give their unbiased expertise that puts both sides at ease.

15.) Wannabe tough guys/"size matters" guys

Usually these guys go around the internet talk trash about people they don't even know. They'll usually say "hahahaha look he's wearing skinny jeans" "man up" or some other insult. They usually pick on those who they assume won't defend themselves, or they act all tough behind a computer screen. These guys also like to brag a lot. These are usually the same guys that obsess over how muscular random guys are and how tall they are. Then when a smaller guy beats them in a fight, or at something, they make all sorts of excuses "oh, I wasn't ready." "I had the fever" "I made a mistake". There is nothing wrong with having a lot of confidence and some pride but once a person becomes overconfident and arrogant, that's when that person gets a bad reputation.
