@1truekhaleesi inspired me to post my unpopular opinions and some of them I'm expecting A LOT of hate for. #BRINGITBITCHES

1. That Waiters and waitresses who are given not tip when they do their jobs right, should legally be allowed one punch to the customers gut

Honestly, who just don't tip are kinda despicable people and if they actually die because they didn't leave a tip, well that's EXTREME KARMA

2. I'm a Pagan and believe in two separate deities

Yeah for some reason this makes people angry, but live and let live motherfuckers.

3. I like Guns

Yeah, I'm a lefty and I like guns.

4. Samurai were lame and Pirates would totally kick their asses

PIRATES ARE COOLER THAN SAMURAI. SAMURAI SUCK

5.The first good Assassins Creed game was Syndicate and the first Ass creed was so bad it was borderline unplayable

6. Christopher McCandless pretty much signed his own death warrent with his lack of preparation and proper knowledge of the area and I've got no sympathy for him

Should have brought a map, a compass, a rifle and ammo, and you're own freaking food. You made a horrifically bad choice Chris McCandless and in the Alaskan Bush that means you die. He was an idiot and one I really can't feel bad for. Nature will fuck you the hell up if you aren't prepared or even sometimes if you are, any hiker worth their salt knows that and you're actions showed that you clearly were someplace you didn't belong.

7. That people over 70 shouldn't vote and people over 55 shouldn't be allowed to run for president

Look you're not long for this world and you want to make a decision that affects people like me who are long for it? We don't allow people under 35 to be president, under 30 to be senator or congressmen, or under 18 to vote, this is just the logical extension of that.

8. That if you have millions of dollars you are never going to spend, I honestly have zero sympathy for you and a lot for you're robber if it gets non-violently stolen.

Its not like you were ever going to use it. Which brings me to my next one

9. Money is a resource like food or water, not a luxury.

When money is necessary for everything it becomes a resource, not a luxury.

10. That people are more likely to be complete and utter idiots than they are too be evil

It simultaneously restores you're faith in the decency of humanity while lowering your faith in their intelligence

So while I understood most of your unpopular opinions even though I may or may not agree with them, I just do not understand #7.

Number 7 is "That people over 70 shouldn't vote and people over 55 shouldn't be allowed to run for president". Please explain why you think this. I do not get either.

And though I may not hold you other unpopular opinions, I, at least, understood your reasoning. But with #7, reasoning fails me and I need further clarification.

Ok, maybe true. But so what? You are saying that maybe I should not have an opinion on Social Security and/or unfunded liabilities the government has because I will not be alive when it goes bankrupt trying to fund them. Why is my opinion invalidated on certain policies just because I won't be alive? Do you not trust me to make sound judgment just because I won't be experiencing the realities of the policies I am voting on? That is what it seems to be...

As for People over 55 shouldn't be allowed to run president, why exactly is that true? Do you not believe they will be alive in the next maximum of 8 years or does it refer back to the first thought, the President won't be alive when the fruits of his policy is harvested?

I think true wisdom is knowing something is right/wrong even though you have not experienced it.

This is probably were we disagree on #7. But I get, while I do not agree, what you are saying if you are also saying that it takes experience to know what is right or wrong. I do not think that is correct.

If that is not what you mean, then I confess, I do not quite understand your point of #7.

But then again, I have a had a bottle of wine so me not getting something does not mean much... Just saying.

I agree with Number 9.
I think luxury is only appropriately labelled to things/privileges that exceed in conventional count. For example, having three phones is a luxury. Patronizing the most expensive brands is made possible by having plenty of either money or gold. Having seven shoe racks full of footwear is a luxury because not many people can avail twenty pairs of shoes, let alone seven shoe racks. Having those things possessed in voluminous numbers isn't deemed necessary for everyday survival.

1. Well, in my country there are no tips, USA is one of the rare countries in the world with such custom. In most of the European countries it's not compulsory, but optionally (as a reward for high-quality service or as a kind gesture).
2. I'm an Atheist, but I think Pagans are ok, I'm also pro-choice, but I don't support Lgbt. However, I believe in the theory of evolution.
3. I'm a lefty too, but I don't like guns.
4. Pirates might look cooler, but Samurai were martial artists, so I doubt the pirates would stand a chance. Corsairs would have better odds because they were professional marine soldiers, unlike pirates who were just sea thugs.

7. I agree, partially, people over 70 shouldn't vote, but I think people over 55 should be allowed to run for president, as well as people under 35.

Assassin's Creed just slowly began getting worse after the 2nd game. Ubisoft is to blame. The rest are kinda understandable.

I am fine with all of these opinions especially number 6. McCandless could've burned the tires on his bus to use as a signal fire and he wasn't far from help at all. It wouldn't have taken long at all to walk for help.

Tipping is a complete rip off. You're a bad person for not wanting to throw extra money around? And why does waiting get tips and not every job in the world? If they're not paid enough, it's understandable but it's not the customers' duty to pay them their salary in tips.

Do you know how you get it for free? By not being able to afford to pay for it.
There are salvos that give out food for free and there's also this little thing called growing it yourself.

When you pay for your food you aren't paying to eat it. You are paying for a service, that service being somebody else growing, raising, butchering and preparing your food for you.
