I just found out a few hours ago basically that we find ourselves more attractive than we are like we're off 1-2 points out of 10 usually except for attractive people or ugly people (by the way ugly people think they're cute apparently. 2-4 points more).

And I'm having a mini existential crisis cos now I'm clueless about how I look so, I don't know a bit obssessed with this now. hope that I'm actually pretty. but I really could be average or maybe busted. by the way how attractive do y'all see yourselves in the mirror vs pics?

for me 7 in the mirror. in pics depends but usually like a 6. apparently pics according to science are a lot more accurate (or even extremely accurate if my memory is right), and that's why you don't like them as much.

I believe that all humans can feel both masculinity and femininity. I also believe %100 of humans no matter the gender actually do experience these feelings and also we all know how it feels to be attracted to feminity and masculinity. isn't it reasonable to say that if you're a male when you feel attraction towards masculinity you're not being gay but you're just learning the emotional spectrum of feelings we are hardwired to feel naturally? Being able to understand and experience the human emotional spectrum just comes with the territory of being a human. So why can't males simply accept that they know what attractions towards another males feels like? When all males inevitably feel this attraction towards the same sex they commonly react towards the naturalness of this emotional learning and growth by telling themselves negative reactions and incredibly harmful thoughts such as feeling that they are not gay and they have to state this and then also dislike anyone who is gay. Can't they just accept that they know what it feels like because that's natural but they still have every bit of their free will and natural right to be able to choose what they prefer or what don't, whether they find one attractive or not? I just feel like I see them all the time reacting nagatively towards these feelings and it tells me that they've always done that since they first experienced attraction. This is what creates a self-perpetuating shame cycle. When they see an expression that reminds them of their natural humanity they direct their stored shame towards the innocent. Because when they are reminded of it they feel all the same shame that they themselves created upon first realization and denied to themselves. Blaming others instead. How do we stop this?

(By the way, I'm 14) I don't know how many boys would just show off about how they're talking to three girls at the same time, always obsessed with just trying to find a way to have sex. Like, I've seen already like two guys my age doing that, and the other people who I know go one-at-a-time, but they're always in-and-out of relationships. They're all absolute players. They're not even attractive themselves, and they're out here having high standards for other girls. They always tend to criticize the body first, though. When they'd gossip about girls, they'd always talk about how she's so fat, and she's not thick at all. Like, is that all you really value in a girl? I understand she's kind of airheaded, but commenting on someone's appearance, I believe, is so insensitive because it's something you can't change, and personality is so much more important in general. Of course, there is that large population of boys who aren't really getting into relationships at all because they're considered rejects by other girls, but the boys who are actually getting into relationships at my age: are they just in it for sex? Is everything just for sex?
