I'm dating a divorced man with 3 kids. I told him at the very beginning that I honor his relationship with kids and I would never interfere there nor ask him to compromise on his time with them. However, once he canceled our date on a last minute when his friend called him to hang out (he's in a city for few weeks only). He doesn't remember dates that are important to me. Sometimes he's very rough in a way he talks to me, but when I call him out, he apologizes and promises to learn better to respond to my feelings..
