I've been contemplating an off-grid lifestyle for the past few months. I've found the land I want to build on, but what frightens me is that some systems may not be readily available. For example, I may build a cabin with solar power, but the well water would have to wait.

So I found an off-grid shower, with a rechargeable pump that submerges into a 5-gallon bucket of water.

This leaves me to question: what's the minimum amount of water to take a shower?

According to you use 2.5 gallons per minute and the average shower is 8 minutes. But is all that really necessary? Isn't most of those 8 minutes spent daydreaming or scrubbing the soap onto your body?

So, this is a rather serious question because, are we overly-expending the massive amount of energy needed to shower? According to the EPA, letting your faucet run for five minutes uses about as much energy as letting a 60-watt light bulb run for 22 HOURS!

How much time do you actually need water pouring on your body?

Here's how the ice bath challenge works. You sit in a bathtub with water and someone dumps two bags of ice on you. You have three minutes to sit there and if you can't do that, you lose.
Rules: First, You do an arm wrestling match and the loser has to go first. Then the loser gets into the tub and lays there. Then you dump the ice. You time them and they can get out anytime. Then it's your turn. You climb into the tub and they dump the ice on you. They time you and you can get out anytime. If both of you make it past three minutes, you both win. If one person doesn't make it, the winner has to make the loser do something embarrassing. If you both can't make it past three minutes, you both have to do something embarrassing for the other person.

We'll be doing both of them with our bathing suits on because we're not married and it would be dishonoring our God and our King. I don't want to dishonor God so that's how we're going to do it. We're not going to wash each other's body parts but we might wash each other's hair. While we do that, we're going to kiss and hug each other.

After our hot shower, we're going to get dressed and watch funny movies while we're cuddling up under a blanket. She'll probably fall asleep with her head on my chest and I might do it too. I hope her mom takes a picture of us like that.

How does that sound? We're taking a hot shower after the challenge to warm us up and we're doing the embarrassing part after, if one or both of us lose. If we both win, nothing bad happens.

heyy so I could barley hear out my left ear every time I wake up and my aunt said her daughter is like that and her son that her sons was bad he had to have ear plugs on both ears and her daughter goes a lot Cuz she can't hear usually when I have wax I'll take a hot shower and It will go away but it hasn't then again I been taking cold showers Cuz its summer anyways how does it it?
