Does your skin itch right after you take a shower?

Everytime i go to shower, after cleaning my body with douchegel my skin starts itching, sometimes a little and other times too much! (Feels like i wanna rip my skin off).
I believe my skin is sensitive, so i got this douchegel that is like 0% everything! (Fragrance, sulfates, colorants, savon/zeep) ... It was very very helpful and i no longer get those itches... But the other time, i started getting them just a little, while in the shower 🧐 does anyone have any idea about this?

I had the same problem and so did my ex (he has eczema tho). I realized that the bodywash that I was using was to stripping and drying on my skin, so like you, I switched to soap free and unscented body washes. I also make sure to apply some body lotion at least once a day.

I went to a dermatologist and she did tell me that I have sensitive skin, she suggested that I look for sulfate free body washes and to try washing with colder water (hot water dries up your skin more according to her). Main key is to keep your skin moisturized to avoid the itching.

You prob have sensitive skin. It could be the soap you use or the temp of the water may be drying out your skin

I found this shower gel called ''Sanex'' which has 0% of every like unhealthy substance! It's working very well for me.

I'm having the same issues and I have really bad backne. I'm like 40 and this bullshit should've gone away on it's own. Facial acne went away when I cut out sugar but what the fuck is my backne all about? It itches and I scratch it so much that I bleed. Only thing that works to get rid of it is sunlight.

Doesn't happen to me but what kind of showers do you take? Warm? Hot? Cold?

The temperature of the shower affects your skin (cold one closes pores and improves blood circulation, warm one opens pores,...) and so it could theoretically affect your reaction to the soap?

Maybe, i take warm showers, but I'm pretty sure it's not the trigger

Tbh i its been years since i used a soap on my body not even once. ..
Just use special soap for my private areas to maintain the ph level n cleaness
U shud quit using soap too🙃
