Recently doing a small remodel to our guest bathroom, replacing bath hardware, shower head, drain etc. I decided to take a Japanese Bath, with bubble bath and a long soak in the newly outfitted Kohler tub.
Now I think I know why the Japanese and many others prefer a bath over the conventional shower that most of us take prior to going to work or any time we wish.
After I got the 'bubble bath going and the water nice and hot... I didn't want to get out of the tub! Wishing it was a night time bath with candles, red wine and music.
Maybe I should live in Tokyo, or somewhere they do appreciate the value of the bath. My current low back pain injury was minimized, and it was a really nice relaxing time and I think I will start enjoying it more.
