I agree with everything besides religion, some parts of Europe are still very religious
Europe is a big continent, you certainly didn't visit the poorer parts of it. Ex-communist countries are quite different compared to western countries.
What are ways that they are different?
Wages are even 10 times lower, public transportation is very bad apart from important cities, Religion is taken way too seriously, people do eat a lot of fast food as well as traditional food.
How do they not gain a lot of weight from eating fast food a lot?
It depends how you define "a lot". An average teenager in my country goes once a week at McDonald's. I personally do not have a very healthy lifestyle but I'm very skinny. Kids walk a lot by foot and 90% of boys play football regularly which I guess it matters.
That explains it
Most Americans go like maybe 3-5 times a week. Some might not go at all. Though most Americans don't do that much walking.
One time we (a group of friends) walked 8km from a forested area to the centre of the town without stopping, and we also carried heavy bags with us. Haven't heard anybody complain about being tired. Also, out of 28 students in my class only 2 can be defined as "chubby", not even fat. Many of us guys also hit the gym or did at some point.
Yeah it's more of a sad sight seeing that kind of thing in the USA. lol
This is interesting but China is way way different from both of them hahaha
We're half a world away I would expect so
So's Africa. Your point?
@Hidden_P I don't see what's so wrong with including where I'm from in the discussion for fun. People are so anal on this site sometimes.
You should right a take about what it's like in China! ^^
It's not about being anal, the take is supposed to be directed at Europe and USA. If she had said USA is different to the world then fine. It's a bit like appearing on a question about vagina problems and going "I've got a penis". Are you expecting the take to flip to how it's different to your country? In which case if we did that with each country we will be here all day. And if that's not your expectation what was it?
Do you understand what I'm trying to get at?
@Mustachekitteh thanks I kind of did write a MyTake about China but maybe I can update it someday...
@Hidden_P There's just more to the world than Europe and America. You guys only talking about your own countries feels a little exclusive to the rest of us out there. It's like if a black girl asked "white guys do you like black girls?" the rest of us feel excluded and want to comment anyway.
I just didn't want to feel so excluded is all but I didn't expect my comment to draw a lot of attention anyway...
Sigh yes there is. But you clearly don't understand what I was intending so please, tell me about china. In depth.
@Hidden_P well based on this list China is similar to Europe except less industrialized (for now). Also instead of castles it's those pagoda like palaces. And that's mostly it :) have a good day and thanks for all the help you've given me on this site I still remember it!
you're welcome. I hope to come across you when I'm not so annoyed. I've had a chest infection for over 10 weeks and haven't slept properly in that time so I'm a little grouchy ATM. Apologies.
@Hidden_P it's ok I'm not impressed by my own comment either. Get well soon...
This take is more like USA compared to the rest oft he world.
100 km is far and I live in the US. I wouldn't drive that far to date someone...
Being the monarchy still rules both any difference just an illusion.
People in Europe are more closed to talking. They don't like to talk that much with people that they don't know.
It's not in my experience.
True. In America you can easily have a conversation with a stranger, while in Europe that's almost impossible.
American porn stars look fake with bleached hair, overdone makeup and implants while European porn stars are much hotter and look natural.
Great take, there are a lot of differences but you covered most of them. :)
Usa peoples are happier.
Scandinavians are definitely, 100% happier and more content and peaceful than americans with their conszant feminism and racism thing
It's hard to have a race issue in a country that's all white.
Exactly!
What country is your boyfriend from?
Portugal
America is better than any other country :)
Wow from your attitude you really seem to fucking hate the U. S.
Your assumption is wrong.
Read what you wrote again
I know what I wrote and I didn't write it trying to put down the country I live in. I was talking about what you normally see here.
doesn't come across that way at all
As A European myself, interesting take there.
I agree with this article :)
I couldn't be happy outside of the U. S.
Nice and thanks :p
Muricaaaa!
true facts lol
Hmm. Interesting.
