Maybe most of you people know about it but still maximum are still don't know about this, so people its not for the judging but only try to tell you "Just Another Fact" !!
India - A country of Mixed Religious like Hindus, Budhism, Muslims, Sikhs, Cristians, Parsis and others.
Its about Hindus - (again its not for judging or not meant to disrespect anything of anyone's).
So this is about Just Another Fact and the fact is you can indentify the female she is married.
I don't think in most of cultures people have any hints / clues vide which you can say for sure "yes she is married".
1. Wearing Vermillion (called Sindoor in Hindu Culture). from the day of marriage a women (generally) has to use Vermillion in her head (not entire head just a line like in this picture).

2. Mangal Sutra - It looks like neckless but this neckless is designed / prepared with the purpose and used for the purpose.
A Hindu Married women wear / use it in her neck and its for purpose to show she is married as Unmarried girls don't ever wear it.

My mom is Hindu living in India and she doesn't put sindoor nor mangalsutra.
I agree, your information is 100% correct but you should include the fact that just because a woman doesn't have those items in her wardrobe, it doesn't mean she's not married.
I didn't know you was Indian

Google โ Actual real life.
Your Google doesn't even show Kashmir as a part of India.
And it shows that to show the ONES who are unfamiliar with the Indian traditions.
Dude Living in Jaipur, Rajasthan is the part of a real life "do you think I am sitting in a new York and writing about Delhi" lol

I meant the things aren't still same in 21st century. Refer to my opinion.
@YourFutureEx Dear, let me clarify you then as you live in Metro City right? and recent development / change in our culture the things which is said are being reduced and disappeared slightly but still yes still Majority of people who lives in small town / villages as well as metros are following / using such stuffs on their day to day use / fashion.
However, as I said in top of my take " so people its not for the judging but only try to tell you "Just Another Fact" !!
would you deny from above fact ! I mean when your mother got married she had used such stuff definitely ! yes as time changed and scenario changed she is no longer using it !! as it is by choice not Law like other religions !! Like Hijab etc. am I right?
So don't be Judge my friend it "Just Another Fact"
I live in the most backward and conservative city.
