So in light of all the confusion of what Feminism "really" means, i´ve decided to make a short take explaining this to stop the annoying pointless discussion about it´s meaning.
We´ve all encountered that one "Feminist", that is obviously hostile towards men. In slang they are called Feminazis, the actual correct term for them would be "Misandrist" (the male equivalent of "Misogynist"). Here a few Examples of what a "Misandrist" statement vs a "Feminist" would look like.

So that´s it. issue solved. or isn´t it ? let´s look at the official definition of Feminism
Full Definition of feminism
1: the theory of the political, economic, and social equality of the sexes
2: organized activity on behalf of women's rights and interests
Now going by the first part of the definition, it is obvious, that the right column of the chart would clearly not be for social equality of the sexes, hence misandrist -> not feminist.
But utilizing the second part of the definition the tiny word "interests" really opens the term feminism up for everything. the good and the bad. meaning every misandrist can claim to fight for feminism, cause they claim to act on behalf of women's rights and interests. That means the right side of the table above would have a legitimation to label themselfes "feminist" too, as they appeal to acting on behalf of womens rights and interests. that statement would be true for the group of women being organized for that cause, therefore allowing them to call themselfes feminists by definition.
Meaning feminism is merely an umbrella term for whatever interest you want to push on behalf of women's interests. giving those who are stricktly for equality between the sexes as much legitimation to use the term feminism for their matters as misandrist, who just want to push more rights for women or simply suppress women, as that´s in favor of women in their point of view.
The conclusion of this take is: one can´t legitimately tell anybody that their claims as to what "feminism" means are right or wrong. therefore the term has no value anymore. don´t argue with it, you can´t win a discussion based on feminism which can mean anything. just use the term equality cause "fem"-inism doesn´t sound much like equality anyway :P

You brought up great questions on the definition of feminism. Clearly the definitions alone are enough to lead to their own conclusions. Everyone may not even agree or like the first definition of described here as feminist, men or women may prefer inequality or separation in some form or fashion.
i don't sefe why equality offends you. perhaps take time to see how equality is negative..
where exactly did you read into what i wrote in this take that equality offends me? i am for equality. i´m just not for feminism as feminism isn´t for equality.
no, but then if equality is bad, then explain why. most of you hawks don't, despite bemoaning it.. lol.
again i´m not saying equality is bad. what´s wrong with you?
