I never heard Americans are friendly stereotype. Also, if you go down South, most people own guns. It's pretty normal. None of these stereotypes fit me.

Im American and i agree with the 2nd two steriotypes, they are kinda true the country was founded from war and has fought many wars
Although it hasn't fought the most wars, it has fought a lot in a short amount of time

Iv'e found the few Americans I've met to be very respectful people when they are talking to you compared to us Aussies. Not that we don't have manners but respect seems to be an important value to them.
