If you really want to save lives and the environment, give up all international airline travel. One round-trip international flight puts more pollution into the atmosphere than someone driving to and from work for a year.
And let's also expand mass transit to reduce the number of cars on the road, which reduces pollution as well as reducing traffic injuries and deaths.

Automobiles aren't built to kill people. Guns are are built to kill people.
(Christ, this is the dumbest argument ever.)

And facts show cars kill way more people in accidents alone than literally all homicides. Do you not care about saving lives? Do you not care about innocent women and kids dying every day in car wrecks?
The 45k is only the accidental and already horrifically high.
It's like how gun control groups include suicides and accidental deaths in their argument vs just murders. 😉 They say "gun deaths" vs "firearm homicides"
@countesssarah like a typical person on here with no argument blocked me when her claim makes no sense. Smh. Comparing to cars is logical and the intent of the products production is an irrelevant line of thinking compared to actual lives obviously.
a reasonable argument, but then we'd be into arbitrating what age constitutes "adult hood". anyway it's backwards trying to cure diseases by treating symptoms instead of the root cause- except for those incapable of logic. guns don't somehow "seize control of their owner's mind" any more than a car which CAN travel 200 mph MAKES the driver accelerate to that speed. semi auto military firearms have been around for almost a century. meanwhile these sensationalized shootings were almost ALL committed relatively LATELY by ONE demographic: FATHERLESS younger men. the guns DIDN'T change- PEOPLE changed , after the welfare state destroyed the nuclear family.
@mytakeowner Unfortunately it sounds like you've been brainwashed by the gang mentality in America. If you are willing to educate yourself more on this subject I would be happy to listen to you.
Are you a liar or just been under a rock, that you're unaware the left tabulates homicides + suicides + accidental deaths as "gun deaths"? GTFO of here
The productivity increases that are brought about when transport is used most likely saves more lives than it takes. Guns do not. I don't even agree with a gun ban but this analogy is brain dead.
Actually guns save more lives than take. They are used in countless attempted crimes successfully every day. Far outnumbering murders even. Unfortunately the FBI refuses to specifically track this information since the findings would obviously make political waves. However there are tons of records of people who went to carjack or burgaler a home and are greeted with a gun and either get shot, or just see it and retreat without any shots fired. I personal had done this. A man was harassing me and my girlfriend and got a little violent when he tried to force his way into our vehichle and i pulled my gun at him and he ran away. So yes guns absolutely save tons of lives every year.
I was obviously talking about public access to guns. And I think looking at homicide rate stats in other countries after buybacks shows this. As to the first comment about a truck killing people, my view about transport considers this, the productivity gains make up for the lives lost.
Said who? I am sure that without modern transport, people would have to work, walk, carry much more around, that would make them much more fitter, - as a result cardiovascular diseases and diabetes (top killers in the world) would fall sharply. Don't hesitate to check, the average quality and longevity of life of the rural-mountain region population vs city dwellers of the same country.
did you know that there's a bus in existence which can hold thousands of democrats? this must be true because each Biden rally couldn't fill a bus. believing a corrupt walking corpse got more LEGAL votes than Obama's campaign did requires a special kind of stupid.

Well it’s simple to say you’re just being silly. The deaths caused by cars were not all malicious murders. Almost all were accidental.
So? Do you care about saving lives or not?
And let's also expand mass transit to reduce the number of cars on the road, which reduces pollution as well as reducing traffic injuries and deaths.
Automobiles aren't built to kill people. Guns are are built to kill people.

And are all these deaths by automobile you're talking about intentional, or accidental?
The 45k is only the accidental and already horrifically high.
It's like how gun control groups include suicides and accidental deaths in their argument vs just murders. 😉 They say "gun deaths" vs "firearm homicides"
Are gun homicides, not suicides, intentional or accidental?
Are the 19 dead children in Texas the result of an accident?
@countesssarah like a typical person on here with no argument blocked me when her claim makes no sense. Smh. Comparing to cars is logical and the intent of the products production is an irrelevant line of thinking compared to actual lives obviously.
Not only that we should also ban alcohol. How many people have died from drunk drivers?
I mean you have a point
I can tell you for fact drunk driving killed way more people than mass murder.
18 year olds can't buy beer in the US. Yet they can buy semi-automatic rifles. Something wrong there.
a reasonable argument, but then we'd be into arbitrating what age constitutes "adult hood".

And 16 year olds can be driving 4000 pound death machines called cars. Do you not care about saving lives?
No one outside the military needs an AR-15 to get to school or work.
Yea, like that approach actually worked in Africa and Eastern Europe 😝👮♂️🤬👮♀️🤬👮🤬⚖️⚰️🥀
Maybe you should actually read the U. S. Constitution. It says nothing about driving a car.
Lets ban pork, too. Cholesterol.
Lets ban masturbation. Risk of a heart attack.
How many of those deaths are the result of people using their cars as a weapon?
You mean like how the Left puts accidental gun deaths and suicides along with murders as "gun deaths"?
@myTakeOwner No, those to things aren't remotely the same not sure wgy you shared that.
The left does, however. They tabulate homicides + suicides + accidental deaths together for "gun deaths."
GTFO of here
@mytakeowner Neither. You're factually incorrect. All data tabulates accidental shooting and suicide by gun into gun violence data because duh.
Anybody who says ban guns move to southside Chicago, Illinois and who ever says ban cars feel free to take a bus in Houston, Texas.
The productivity increases that are brought about when transport is used most likely saves more lives than it takes. Guns do not. I don't even agree with a gun ban but this analogy is brain dead.
Not that unlikely. There were 82 people killed by a truck terrorist attack in Nice France.

did you know that there's a bus in existence which can hold thousands of democrats?
this must be true because each Biden rally couldn't fill a bus.
believing a corrupt walking corpse got more LEGAL votes than Obama's campaign did requires a special kind of stupid.
Where'd you get that joke from? I give credit where credit is due. None is forthcoming here.
Why do you think they are stupid?
Or is it really gun owners that you think are stupid?
@bademoxy Well said!
Anonymous always tough
How about we ban stupid people instead anyone who can’t pass a common sense test has to go back to school aka prison
The most common weapon that kills and inflicts injuries is the bare hand. We should chop off everyone's hands also
Ban airplanes and boats and refrigerators and gas stoves and knives too. The number of people killed each year by these things is not zero.
Umm, only need to make the roads wider! It's crazy that people aim cars at each other over two yellow lines that are only about 10 inches apart!
Ban guns from nuts and criminal's ban bad drivers from cars ban bad people completely problem solved
What if you banned alcohol and other identical things so drunk drivers aren’t a thi-
