Why no call, no message..no nothing?

ok so the last msg I got from my boyfriend was " I miss you so much hunny can't wait to see you " that was Friday...haven't heard anything from him since ... he is working outta town and his boss said they would have to stay another week...he got really mad about that ... we had plans on sunday and he didn't call or anything ... any ideas what I should do ?

He has told me that he could never find anyone better then me, and how he was hooked the first time we were in each others arms and how he really really likes me ... but why no call, no message..no nothing?

Is it possible he works a job where he can't find the time to contact you?

Like the hours are so long he has just enough time to sleep?

While it is reasonable to expect some type of communication from someone that has professed their love for you so strongly, he may also be in a situation where he can't do anything about it.

As an example, when I served in the Army, a situation came up where I had to go on a field exercise with my unit for three days. This would be out in the woods where there is no cell phone service, and they do not provide any form of communication to us because it's for such a short time and we were in the local area.

There was a possibility that are stay on this training exercise would be extended another three days.

I had a girlfriend, and I explained that I would be gone for four days (they wouldn't release us until midnight on the last day, and after that there is equipment turn-in,accountability, etc). I then told her that I could be extended on this exercise an additional three days.

She was fine with it. She understood what was going on, as she was raised in a military family.

So off I went into the woods. And of course, we were extended three days.

So I got back on Sunday early in the morning. And the exercise was such that I didn't get any real sleep, so guess what I did? I went to bed.

About nine hours later I called her, and there was no answer.

So I went back to bed because I was exhausted, and I knew it was around dinner time when I made the call, and I would get in touch with her when I went to her parent's house the next day, as planned.

I get there around 11 AM, and her parents greet me at the door telling me that she was up nights, crying about not hearing from me and she didn't understand why I wouldn't call.

I started to think this was a big joke, seeing as they are ex-military. But it wasn't. As a matter of fact she was so upset she wouldn't speak to me. She broke up with me through them.

I know my story only relates partially, but what I'm getting at is this; have a little faith please.

I promise, not all guys are jerks, a good many of us have the best of intentions, but sometimes there are demands put on us that go beyond what we planned. And I know when it's a planned event, people look at us like we're failures if it doesn't go accordingly because as men were expected to be good at planning and making sure we account for every possible outcome, but the reality is it's impossible to always get it right.

So just for the sake of making me a believer, can you not get upset about your boyfriend's current situation, I am absolutely certain he's going to make this up to you. If he was extended on an out of town gig for week, I'm sure he's doing the best he can.

And you state "he got really mad about that." How do you know he got mad, did he text you?

Just please whatever you do, trust he's going to come through. If I'm proven wrong I'll owe you

And is going to have a few beers with his buddy 4 the guys bday...said he would be a couple hrs then he was coming over....i was ok with that...I waited up till 230 AM....and no call no msg no nothing...I sent him a msg back that he sent me sayin " I just wanna hold u, kiss you , grab you ..e.tcetcetc" and I sent it back and he sends a msg this mornin sayin " yes that is my plan baby" ... what gives ?? I don't understand it, he is only home till tomorrow morning yet he hasn't came 2 see me?

Ok, now that's a little suspicious. If he's just hanging out with with his friends, then it's more likely harmless and he got too involved in what they were doing.

However, there is a slight chance that there is something else going on. You'll have to call him out on it and tell him you need to talk.

If he blows it off, then stop talking with him, and when he starts making efforts to contact you, blow him off. He'll get the message, and if he wants to fix things, then he'll let you know

I do have 2 admit, work takes up a lot of his time and is very frustrating with him right now he was suposed to be done workin outta town last wk and they still have him going back tomorrow for however long so I mean I would want to see my friends as well if that was me. he told me " I wanna find a new job hunny because I ain't willing to leave town for work if ur pregnant or if we have babies" ... so that's gotta say something right? he tries for a few drinks but ends up havin more. he's not cheating

Please stop worrying. I'm sure that all is fine. It is clear that he is missing you and just because he has not been in contact it does not mean that he is not thinking about you.

He is probably working very long hours while away and not getting much time to him self or time to do anything. The other thing is he may not have a signal.

The best thing is just to send him a message, asking how he is and how it is going. Let him know that you miss him too and that you care. If he gets a chance to message or call back then I'm sure he will. If not it is because he is busy.

Just go out and have fun with your friends, keep your self busy, take your mind off him. By keeping your self busy it will make the time go quicker until he gets back. I'm sure all is fine!

Ok so he got ahold of me that day .... he ended up not being able to get home and his phone died but he did get ahold of me...I let it go... I wasn't going to get mad over something he couldn't control....then he tells me ALLLLLLL this week how much he misses me and feels so bad he couldn't come see me and blah blah blah....and then he comes home fri nite...goes camping with the guys...no big deal ... we had plans sat nite....well sat nite comes around and he tells me he just got home from camping
