Thick glasses: how to cope with them & look attractive?

Hey all,

I'm a guy with hereditary myopia & i have been wearing thick glasses since I was 2, in senior high I had to go for contacts to be "socially accepted" & it worked fine, made it throughout college with a great social life etc.

However now i'm 25 with a job & contacts don't work for me anymore as they dry my eyes & bother me a lot, so i'm obliged to go back to my old thick glasses.

My question is targeting the ladies mainly: how to be attractive with thick glasses?

This is a really sensitive subject for me as my years as a child have been tough enough socially & i still have bad memories about people picking up at me etc.

If you're the guy in the white shirt smiling, you're already good lookingggg and I could totally see you rocking some hipster glasses. You have a nice jaw line and a really pleasant face - definite cutey :3

Lots of people are into glasses these days. I know I definitely find them attractive, and other girls do too.

^ When you shop for glasses, look for one that defines your face and brings out the shape of your jaw.

If you don't want something less noticeable check out the rimless glasses. You can also get anti-reflective coating to take away the shine.

Thanks & that's what my friends tell me a lot actually :)

I wear rimless glasses for reading & sometimes at class.

However, my problem is that thick glasses can't come rimless or with the hipster frames :/ ... I'm a bit overwhelmed. also, they can't be reduced & my eyes always look so small in them :s.

Look for 70s vintage reading glasses aka grandpa glasses like these:

As you can see, the hipster style is the modern version of these. Plus, fashion is always repeating itself, so you'll definitely start a trend with these baby's :)

Thick glasses are hot, everyones been sporting those classic black rimmed ones even though some of them don't need it. When you say thick, are you talking about the lenses? They actually slim those down nowadays.. a little expensive, but its worth it.

If you are talking about the frames of the glasses I personally don't like them thick, but you can always get new frames when it comes time to get new glasses. If your lenses are thick then it doesn't matter, people get used to it. (:
