I wouldn't say dangerous but people who have been to hell and back know that they can survive the depths of despair and find a way out of it. Once you know the limits you've been pushed to, you know you get through anything else in life.
I've been damaged physically and mentally, I've been to some scary psychotic places in my mind and been pushed about as far as I can go but I'm still here. Whether that's because I was strong enough to find my way back or whether time has naturally brought me to a happier place, I don't know. All I know is I survived and because I've survived what people have done to me and survived losing what I have, I know I can survive everything else. That contentment in my own power as a person might make me seem intimidating or dangerous to people who are not aware of their own power yet. We're all capable of finding a fire inside of us, we just haven't all been pushed to the brink where it has to ignite.
I don't regret anything that's happened in my life because it's prepared me and given me certainty of self for an uncertain future. I can be a strong person to someone I meet one day, I can be a pillar for people I love and support them and keep them going, that is worth what I've been through any day.

Yeah, exactly. I'm a damaged person emotionally (not just with women-related issues, but in general), so now I have transformed into a ruthless, no-nonsense man who doesn't give a crap about those who don't give a crap about him. But I still retain my core values and individuality.

Stronger, motivated, competitive, etc... people can be just as "dangerous". People that consider themselves 'damaged goods' seem to have this pride about themselves, thinking they're in a league all their own. Damaged could mean anything from seasoned to insecure. And when I think of an insecure person (or even a person caught up on showcasing being damaged in the first place), I don't think "Wow, this person is a threat".

You can indeed have your head screwed on straight and still be plenty capable of doing what it takes to get the life they want. Damaged people are dangerous because they'll end up on an episode of Cops.

one can survive and not be damaged! It's all mental strength, we can only choose to let others hurt us and in some sense living dangerously does not mean surviving. Philosophically aside, what is the point your trying to make? I need more details to give you an exact opinion.

Not necesarily quality of life is also a factor in survival. Many damaged people take their own lives and/or breed on functioning children (violence, crime,,, mental disease, physical disorders) est.

Damaged people also know how to manipulate people in order to survive. I've encountered multiple damaged people in my life. The common trait, they were all selfish and manipulative. It was a survival technique at one point that turned into part of them. That's my opinion anyways.
