The American media and people love to talk so much about how attractive Latina women but none of them ever mention how attractive the Latino men are. I guess it's because they assume that all Latino men are just a bunch of brown-skinned, poor, fat, short, perverted, illegal immigrant Mexican guys.

This sometimes makes me hate being a Latino male. We never get any praise for anything and we're all stereotyped as a bunch of ugly, overly macho perverts and illegal immigrant thugs.

I don't think so.. and also when referring to latin people it's not solely mexican people, that's ignorant to think. Latin America is composed of many different countries expand your knowledge.

I find many latin men attractive, the only thing I would find as a negative thing would be that the majority are of average or shorter in height, but then again that could apple to any male of any race... For the most part European people tend to be taller, for both men and women, and more down south people tend to be shorter, both men and women.. but I wouldn't say are more or less attractive. the skin color is actually the nieces in my opinion.. cause it's neither black nor white.. for most..

That's the annoying thing about the stereotypes of Latinos coming from Non-Hispanic/Non-Latino Americans. That all of us are a just a bunch of brown, short and dirty illegal Mexicans. Even if the majority of Latinos in the US are Mexican, it doesn't mean that all of them are brown, short, illegal and dirty. I'm a light-skinned, Mestizo Mexican-American male who stands between 5'10-5'11, which is taller than your average Latino male.

Don't confuse our current political climate with the reality on the ground, so to speak.

When I lived in Chicago, probably of my white girl friends dated Latino men. Two of my three serious boyfriends were Latino. I love that so many Latino men are family oriented, are quite humorous, and passionate. It's tough to generalize, but the woman I know point to the same traits. Personally, I like dark and handsome men, anyway.

Much of what happens in the political climate is a reaction to changing U. S. demographics. People will get over it.

Just be confident and be yourself.

I personally find Latino men quite attractive as long as they are tall (mainly because I'm tall and I'm not really attracted to men that are significantly shorter than me). I'd have a much harder time being attracted to a man from a black ethnic group, not because of stereotypes but because I just don't find them attractive usually.
