Mexican Women of GAG: Do you think all black men are ugly?

Its seem that Mexican girls in the site go for white guys. What is it about white guys that makes em so special compared to black men? Why don't Mexican women ever approach a black guy who's educated, nerdy, classy, has a fun personality and goals oriented? Also I don't see Attractive Mexican women with black men very often in public, why is that? Do you think Dark skin is very unattractive and grosses you out? Why do many Mexican women think this way about human beings in general? Not all black men fit the stereotype of being loud, listening to rap and R&B, commit crimes, talking ebonics and approaching women aggressively. I want to hear your opinions of why favor whites over blacks?

I think that's because our Mexican parents will pretty much disown us if they ever see us with a black man. Just like a lot of White & Asian parents would feel negatively about their daughters being with a black guy. You have to admit the black culture has a bad wrap and a lot of older generation of Mexican parents aren't that opened minded. A lot of Mexican parents don't even want their daughters with white men! A lot Mexican families are really into their culture and blood lineage. Plus they want to be able to communicate with the person their daughter is dating so if they don't speak Spanish (which a lot of young non-hispanics don't) then it's a no-go.
I for one don't think all black men are ugly. There are ugly and handsome men in every race. And I don't prefer white men over black men. I just prefer my race over both. White men are too plain for me and I've never been interested in a black man before. I've seen some very handsome ones but they never chat me up or anything so I never gain an interest in them.

As a Mexican lady, I have found many of them attractive. To me, it's not about color, race, ethnic background, etc. It's about who he is as a person and how he treats others. Dark skin is beautiful just as all other colors. Who doesn't love a classy, educated man? :)

Everyone is different. I'm mexican and I can admit that I'm not hugely attracted to black men. At least not right off the bat. I question myself in regards to that because I tend to favor the darker men of my own race. However, I'm not closed off to the idea of dating a black man. I've met a few that are quite charming so that makes me attracted to them. Mexicans are very diverse. I know a lot of my friends love black men. Then there are the ones that claim they want to better our race by marrying a white man and having a white baby. And like someone said, some mexican parents are very against their daughters dating black men because of stupid stereotypes.

Anyway, most of the immigrant, fresh off the boat, 1st generation mexicans are brainwashed into thinking white people/men are superior and can get us farther in life by status based of who we date and have children with. Black people (to the ignorant) may be seen as a downgrade.

Now, those mentalities are made of ignorance themselves, I would not even pay them any attention.

Independent hispanic women, modernized women those that are culturally indulgent have zero problem dating outside of their race.

Honestly though, out of all the Hispanic females I met, maybe 3 out of 15 dated a black guy. It was just very rare, but then again this was HS surrounded by many latinos. Racism played a part. I don't know

I have Mexican friends, pretty as can be, that date black guys. A few of them even have the cutest biracial babies.
I think you're generalizing. Most Latinos like white, black, Asians, other latinos, etc. Get down with the brown haha

Usually mexican girls raised in mexico are instilled to date mexicans or whites. Plus there isn't many blacks in mexico so said girls aren't exposed to them. However, mexican women born in the US have the opportunity to interact with black men and some like them. Personally, I used to think will Smith was cute when he was younger. What attracted me to him was his laid back and fun loving attitude. There was another golfer but he was mixed and almost looked white. I'm sure you'll find a latina.

I'm mexican & I'm very attracted to black men. Honestly, I'm more attracted to black men than white men. However, personality & common interests do help out a lot when it comes to attraction for me though.

Oh no I think there are some really good looking black men :) For example, the winner of America's Next Top Model Cycle 21, Keith... dang he is HOT! Lol but yeah there are attractive and unattractive people from every race, so I believe there are attractive black men out there!

Yeah the majority of women seem to be attracted to white guys but I have seen good looking latina women with blacks so yeah its possible if you talk to enough of them.
