Add him on Facebook?

OK, so I recently began volunteering with this guy whom I kind of have a little crush on. We've volunteered together twice and both times we talked a lot--probably more than we really should have considering we were supposed to be doing work. Anyway, I've been debating adding him as a friend on Facebook, but I don't know if it's too soon.

So, my question is this: does it scare you when someone finds you and adds you quickly on a social networking site like facebook or myspace? Guys, what are your thoughts on this?

Trust Me! IT is good to keep a LITTLE mystery in a relationship if you are really interested in him. My experience has proven that adding another person on Facebook is only good when you don't want anything to get serious or when you are engaged/ married. As someone mentioned before, they find out too much about you and vice versa. You can see all the other girls they are friends with and they can see all of the guys you are friends with who are posting stuff on your wall and it can, most likely affect the opinion you have about each other. How did I find out certain guys were interested in me? They DIDN'T accept me as a friend on Facebook. How I became friends or had to delete friends on or through Facebook? I added the people I was interested on as a friend. Adding them to Facebook results in possible stalking/obsession and LACK of trust rather then a BUILDING of trust. :D!

No, you have met him in person and talked extensively. FACEBOOK would be the natural next step. It just shows that you would like to keep in contact with him. But, as fair warning, if you do add him to FACEBOOK you may find out things about him quicker than you wanted to. So, if you would like to know him gradually, and do think you will run into him again refrain from adding him to FACEBOOK. Facebook has a funny way of adding a twist on things. Get my drift?

If you've talked, then facebook is fair game. There are people I met at parties for all of ten minutes on my facebook. It won't make you look like a creep. Unless you had to search to find out his last name. Then you should probably wait until the next time you volunteer, and find that out first. But if you're never volunteering again, creep away. What's to lose? :P

Facebook means NOTHING.

I have gone around randomly clicking the "add to friends" button on random people where it says "people you make know". Adding someone on facebook is like saying "i want to add 1 to my friend counter" rather than "this person is my friend"

It really depends on how well you know the person. I added a nice girl that I met as a friend on Facebook, after knowing her about a month. But we talked alot, and really got to know each other. I would add him after you feel comfortable knowing him well.

I recently met a guy In a family function I didn't talk to him much but v smiled at each other many times and even had a lot of eye contact.. I found him really cute..

I want to add him on Facebook but I m not sure if if would be right for me to add him first or should I wait for Him to add me?
