I'm half black but was raised by my black side of my family and studied black history etc.

I grew up on the 80s and 90s hip hop scene but as I got older I dropped rap off my list of music due to the lyrics...

I listen to a lot of classic rock, country and indie rock now...

Depends on if it's old school or not. I mostly listen to soul, j-rock, j-pop, k-pop, classical music, and many other different genre's over rap and r&b.

I'm not a fan of mainstream rap but there are underground rap artists who I appreciate a lot more than the coons who rap about bitches, money, cars, and shooting up shit. As for R&B, I like it old school.
