I wouldn't say I hate freshman. I hate middle schoolers, and a lot of freshman still act like middle schoolers, so I hate those ones. The ones that act like they have common sense are the ones I don't hate.

They are viewed as inexperienced, weaker and less dependable then their older counter parts. They are also viewed as less intelligent and less powerful.

Because they want to feel stronger and better. Since freshmen are at the bottom of everyone else.

Not this guy... but then again I went to an Asian dominated School so my school life was far from traditional American.

Eh, i think people just get exasperated by people younger than them acting like they know everything. It's a maturity thing. but I wouldn't say they "hate them" that's a bit harsh.

People just like to tease/joke about freshman. At my high school there was pat a freshman day.

It's just a tradition that stuck with high school and college.

So dumb. Because they are immature. They think they are better because they are wiser. Freshman look naive.

Well most of them are really annoying. Not like senior annoying. More like playground annoying

They don't ACTUALLY hate freshman. It's a joke.

  Well I'll be a sohpomore after this summer and last year none of the freshman were hated on. Sometimes the upperclassman would be like "UGH those stupid freshman," but they were friends with some of us & had a joking tone.
