Does anyone else think it's odd that there appears to be more black girl and white guy couples these days?

Something that intrigues me is that I've been seeing more and more interracial couples between Black women and White men.

Back in the day Black women and White men hated each other due to history as you would know already.

Black women would find White men unmasculine, racist and boring. While White men would find Black women unfeminine, loud and aggressive.

And now all of a sudden, they're dating each other? It doesn't make sense because Black women and White men are supposed to traditionally hate each other as part of human nature. But I'm guessing I feel like this only because it appears to be a new thing...

So what's with the sudden resentment to dating? Anyone else wondered this?

Supposed too? Nah I think black woman and white men always liked each other. I'm a black guy and I know for a fact a lot of my white guy friends like black girls and a lot of my cousins like white guys. But social pressure keeps them apart. A lot of black women feel all white guys are racist and boring and other adjectives associated with undesirable. And a lot of white guys feel like black women are loud rude and unattractive aka undesirable. People don't want to date people if every one they know is going to judge them for it. Also both sides often assume that they won't be seen as attractive. Black girls get thier self esteem destroyed by the model industry and white guys keep getting big black confidence destroying dick shoved on them every time they get on the Internet. The black man white women relationship however has been pretty public this whole time. No one could deny a white girl was seeing a black man if her baby came out more than a few shades darker than her. So there relationships were forced into the public eye and quicker into acceptance. But I don't think it's weird at all. I'm more happy about it than anything.

It's not odd because this is now a totally desegregated nation. Ridiculous that we were still segregated in the 60's.

Why are you so worried about other people's love life?

I think people are free to date whoever they want, regardless of others opinion.

You're saying that it doesn't make sense that black women and white men are dating, don't forget that people are different. There are black women who don't like white men and vice versa, but it DOESN'T mean that all women and all men feel this way.

Another thing, people DO fall in love and you don't choose who you fall in love with.
Plus, when it comes to love skin color DOESN'T matter.
