How do you feel about middle easterners and Muslims?

As a half latina and a half arab girl I have noticed the recent (it has always existed but now it's worse) hardcore racism towards Muslims and just anyone who looks Middle Eastern and honestly it's messed up and people need to stop... I am including a poll and if you want to insult people and act like an ignorant fool, go ahead and leave negative comments. 
Just remember that you should judge people based on their character and not because of their colour. 

Also those of you who think that the Muslims living outside of the Middle East are completely in compliance and safe from terrorist groups you're wrong because they are considered traitors...

The problem here is with three aspects.

1. The numbers of extremists among muslims are increasing. Part due to growing up in war-ridden places, part of the wahhabitism propaganda and a few other aspects.

2. People didn't have a say in their western nation politics at all and reap a lot of difficulties now already from the immigrants and refugees being there. Now that they see even more are coming and politics still don't listen to valid concerns (you are instantly super-nazi-right-winged if you are having concerns and mentioning any form of criticism), they naturally get hostile.

3. A lot of muslim/arab communities stay among themselves and aren't exactly open to invite outsiders. Be it to perserve their culture or just plain preferring talking in their own language. Either way they separate themselves from the majority of the nation.

Now is it right to hate on them? Of course not, because there are plenty of decent ones. There are still very valid and legit reasons why there is a certain hostility towards them. Mainly because of our own politics pushing is so far to the left that any even moderate view is already considered as racist. The problem with that is that the more the opposing viewpoints are not listened to and silence, the more extreme that opposition gets.

Like most people with common sense know that its plain stupid to create overcrowded areas with only one immigrating ethnicity, because how would they immigrate properly when only being among themselves? The next part is that a gues who can't behave should leave, but what truly happens with them? How about the super left policy making silencing the troubles immigrants potentially bring (the best example would be the Rotherham case where the investigator literally was silenced for it potentially be racist to publicy muslim pedophile rings - becaue apparently its better to let them keep abusing children).

To put it simple: The current immigration policy simply can not work and its obvious to most people. Unfortunately one extreme always causes the opposite extreme. By pushing the "everything is perfect, multiculturalism is super-great, equality is perfect", the opposition gets as extreme. By forcing tolerance on people more racism and sexism is actually created. Quite ironic, isn't it?

From my experiences with people from the Middle East and with fellow Americans, I can say that religious extremists from both cultures have far more in common with each other than either group do with the moderates and liberals of their own culture. I didn't answer your question but I think you can guess that much.

While the conservative hate factory has really picked up against Muslims lately, they have just as much hate for other minorities. The conservative media tends to cycle through them.

I Actually had married a man from Egypt when he had found me on Facebook a few years back and I Became at One Time... Part of His life and Culture when I ended up living out there for awhile. We All accepted and loved One another, and of course, They had their way which I Respected While Living under the same roof.

I don't care about their skin colour and if I don't come in contact with their belief then they're fine. I just don't want anything to do with their faith.

I seriously don't have an opinion on that issue.

I'm a pretty chill out and respectful guy with everybody, but what I'm seeing in the world is mostly FEAR, not hate, towards Islam.

I would LOVE to believe that just a few muslims do some kinds of actions, but the reality shows us they're not a minority. Some parts of the media wanna make it look like there are 20 "bad muslims" in the world and all the others are completely lovely human beings. And, in fact, the number of "bad muslims" is a pretty damn big, considering the number of muslims worldwide.

I don't think it's difficult to understand why people fear and consequently hate on islam. But I'll always respect every kind of people, no matter their religion.

I think I have given up trying to understand the culture, religion and history of the Muslim world. The idea of 72 virgins as a reward for Jihad is like explaining quantom mechanics.

This turmoil that is going on at the moment is like a rock rippling through a flow of the river. Will it affect anything? No because the flow of the river, human advancement, is just too strong. Some say its a never ending cycle of Islam's expansion, birthing more 4th, 5th, 6th Crusades and so on. But no, history doesn't really repeat itself because history abhors a paradox.

Millions of Muslims support harsh punishment for drawing Mohammed.
Sharia law just sucks.
Let's not go into how women are treated.

Middle Easterners encapsulate a wide variety of people. This equally includes the native Christian middle Easterners that existed prior to Islam that Muslims are forcing out of their countries.

As an Eastern Orthodox Christian, I am often offended when people assume that the Middle East is entirely Muslim since traditionally it is also Orthodox. It is where the Jerusalem, Alexandria, Antiochian, and Ecumenical patriarchs reside. Our women also wear head coverings, we pray 4-5 times a day via the Hours, and are often among the Palestinians who are massacred by Israelis.
