Why is the media and society trying to "feminize" men?

they want to get rid of the stoic typical manly man. you see every time a company comes up with a new product in their industry the statistics show that women spend more money on stuff than men, women and their typical feminine behavior are bigger consumers than men are.

traditionally men buy things because its a utility and women but things because its more of an accessory.

if a man buys a backpack he finds it handy to know how many liters that go inside. if a woman buys a handbag or backpack she wants it too look cute and trendy. the man will buy a backpack that is strong and lasts long, the woman will maybe buy a new one next year.

look at how watches are advertised, men want it to be a utility. there needs to be altimeter, it needs to be able to go underwater, it needs to be strong and robust, yet look sportsy and classy. it needs to be able to display the time correctly at all times everywhere under any conditions. it needs to recharge itself with solar energy so a man never has to worry about buying new batteries.

when a woman buys a watch she just wants the color to match her outfit. watches for women are advertised as jewelry and as accessory.. men will buy a more neutral watch, at least the majority of them will. they will buy a watch in stainless steel, brushed or with another finish, or they may go for a titanium one. these watches go with any outfit so if a man buys one watch he can wear them with every outfit for every occasion. this is not very consumer like behavior.

there are now watches that have a GPS in them. do you think anyone besides rough outdoorsy types of men uses these watches? no, this product as a utility exists because of men. they want to save and weight in their backpack so they use it as watch and GPS.

they want to make men more like female consumers. they want men to buy things for the sake of it being an accessory. these new metrosexual men are like that, they have a lot of disposable income. this metrosexual man has been described as being fashion designers wit dream. in magazines they said that the metrosexual man stereotype was fabricated to make men consume more products.

women jump on to fads much faster than men ever will. they try to sell skirts for men for maybe a decade now but its not catching on. but fads for women come and go, and women just consume them which is good for the industries. they want men to be like this.
