There's two kinds of alpha males. there's the guy with a backwards hat, who insults people around him to get girls to like him, has poor work ethic, and his future is foggy. The other kind of alpha is the man with a future, works hard, has goals, is a good person who is respected and look up to by his peers. The first alpha, is the type which considers another man as beta for being a feminist. The second alpha is a real alpha and is quite likely to be a feminist themselves.

Hmmm.. then I should clarify my previous answer to this question. Although I wholeheartedly support Feminism, I have chosen not to call myself a Feminist because I think it's a contradiction in terms. By calling myself a Feminist, I am implying that I understand what it's like to be a woman and what challenges women are up against in the world. But, as a man I feel like I can't ever really understand that, so I don't call myself one. What I can do is to support the movement in whatever ways I can, and to not participate in the latent sexism still present in our culture today.

In that way, I kind of do tend to think that men who call themselves Feminists need to focus on being better men and supporting the Feminist movement rather than directly identifying as a Feminist. Also, I know a lot of men that identify as a Feminist and nearly all of them are submissive to their female counterparts.
