Growing up with your family, did your family do co-bathing/showers?

In many cultures it very common for family members to take bath or shower together.
Parent and children, brother and sister, brother to brother, sister to sister. It a non sexually activity. It another way family members can bond close to each other.

my parents still have a framed picture of me and my brother in the tub together on the living room mantle but we were like 3-5 years old.

That is wonderful and the bonding your brother and you have. Some people have drama with this but it's healthy and normal for kids. Children do not see things as adults do and children are shock what adult act like when they do this. Brother and sisters do not take bath for sex reason. They just what to be with each other and enjoyed the company of each other. Yes they do notices body parts but it not an issuse. Sometime when children are taking a bath together that one of the parent will come in and read a story to them.

Usually it is more a kid thing. Once you reach a certain age it is something different.

Many parents and their children will take turn in taking a bath or shower with one of their children. Mom and son, mom and daughter, father and son, father and daughter, brother and brother, sister and sister, or brother and sister. These activities are a non sexually. Family members do not do this for self pleasure and have some sexually need met. They do it because they what to be with each other. A time of sharing, a time of bonding to each other. Family members see each other naked is not a crime, not a sin. Family members who grow up with openness and see the human body was art have a more healthy attitude about their self and others. They see each person as a person, not a sex object. So if 10 year old Jeff is taking a baht and his 7 year old sister what to take a bath with him. They can do it as long it done with respect. You have parents who take time like this as their children are in the time and be reading a book to them. Why do people have so much issuse with this thinking

As you getting older does not have to come to something different. It our minds which we need to keep under control at all times. We all have feelings, or troughs that are not correct. We just do not act on it.

me and my older sister used to take a bath/shower together all the time until i was 9 and she was 12 then she wanted to take them by herself. now my mom makes me take my little brother whos 5 into the shower with me to wash him so she doesn't have to do it
